Lizzy's Pov
A small stream of light fled through the small window in the door, giving me a few small seconds to scan around the room before it was enclosed in darkness once again. There seemed to be nothing else in the room, no furniture or anything major was in the room. The person's eyes were blue, not anything like Phillip's but rather a darker shade of blue. They shot a quick look at me before shutting the door once more.
A few seconds went past and the door flashes opened once again, causing me to wince as the light ran into the room blinding me completely as I attempted to flutter my eyes open once more. I didn't get that chance.
I turned my head towards the wall, allowing my self to open my eyes without any sort of pain. On the wall, a shadow was casts. Nothing which I could detailly make out, but I could tell it was a girl due to the large "poof" of her skirt. Something I had only ever really seen in more elegant gowns...those which usually belonged to those of the upper class.
Lillia.
I didn't even get a chance to say a word before the door was shut once more, after a small clamouring sound on the ground. But rather the room being exploded into darkest, there was a faint light, a faint glow which somehow provided a small amount of comfort the room.
The flame burnt neatly amid the dusty wax, the tasteful coffee hues dull beneath the layers of dust from all the years. At first it smelt odd, as if the fire were digesting the dirt, then it was just the same as any other candle - orange flame, blackening wick and pooling wax.
I slowly moved over towards the candle, seeing a small plate of food and a cup of water next to it. Though I'm not sure if it could be classified as food. The "food" stuck the the plate, wobbling when the plate did. It seemed to be mashed potatoes but I couldn't even move a small portion of it. It was a hard as brick and knowing who I was being held by, I dubious of whether or not to eat it.
I decided not to eat it, but the cup of water I gratefully accepted, not that they would ever know that. The glass was crystal clear but for a tiny chip on the rim, the fog created by my breath and the smudged finger marks. The water crisp and cool. My mouth dry and lips cracked from lack of fluid. The glass was a beautiful sight and the water even more so.
With the help of the flame, I could see the rest of me a little bit better. The dress Phillip had brought me when we found each other in the forest, the olive green one, was now tattered and torn. My hands were washed in dust and the small cuts were barley recognisable as dirt cake up in them. I could also see the room much better, it was small but manageable and not claustrophobic and I could now see a small crack between two beams which I could see out into a field or a garden maybe?
Nevertheless, i went back to where I was siting and begun Using a few drops of the valuable water, I washed my hands. Trying to remove the excess oil and dirt that had wound up on my hands. I was tempted to fall asleep, I don't know how long exactly I had been out but I was still tired. Still yearning sleep.
I was about to fall asleep against the wood when something caught my ears, causing my eyes to flash open as I ran over to the small crack in the wall, seeing someone in the field.
"Where is she?" I heard Phillip growl.
