Scott's POV.
I didn't mean to say such a harsh thing to Mitch, but maybe it would make things easier.
I looked at him as he sat there on a chair, his face down.
I can't believe I'm not going to share a room with this beautiful boy for one month.
I packed my stuff slowly, just to spend more seconds around Mitch.
"Mitchy?" I sighed.
Mitch hummed.
"I didn't mean to be harsh." I said.
Silence.
I shrugged and continued packing.
"Then why did you?" Mitch finally said.
"I don't know. To make things easier?" I said.
"It won't make things easier." Mitch scoffed.
"Sorry. I don't wanna leave you here with a total stranger." I whispered.
"Once you were a total stranger to me too." Mitch said.
Ouch. That hurts. What if he goes along really well with his new roommate? Would he forget me?
"Never." Mitch said.
"What?" I asked.
"You're thinking out loud." Mitch chuckled.
"Oh..." I smiled.
I packed my last stuff and sighed.
"Well. This is it." I whispered.
"I'm going to miss you." Mitch said.
"Or maybe not." I said.
"What do you mean?" Mitch asked.
"Maybe you're going to like your new roommate very much, more than you like me." I said softly
Mitch walked to me and held my chin softly, forcing me to look in his gorgeous eyes. I blushed.
"Look... I'm not going to jump on the next man who comes in. I like you. I really do. We'll see what this new situation gives us. Hell, maybe YOU will find a cuter boy." Mitch said.
My eyes widened.
"Never! You're the cutest and the most gorgeous boy I've ever seen." I gasped.
Mitch giggled and gave me a soft kiss on my lips.
Somebody knocked on the door.
"Damn, it's time." Mitch sighed.
I did my best not to tear up, but I failed.
"C-Come in..." I tried to bring out.
Kirstin stepped in with a sad look on her face.
"I'm sorry, boys... I've tried my best to keep you together." Kirstin sighed.
"I know you did. Thank you." I whispered as I wiped my tears away.
Kirstin hugged me and I pulled Mitch into the hug. I love him so much, why does this happen to us?
"Alright, that was the emotional part." Kirstin chuckled.
"Yeah. I guess it's time to leave now, right?" I asked.
"Yes, unfortunately it is. Now, I am going to stand outside to give you two a minute." Kirstin said.
"Thanks." Mitch whispered.
I nodded at Kirstin and she left to stand in the hallway.
"So, I am going to miss you." I said as I caressed Mitch's cheek.
"I am going to miss you too. One month feels so long." Mitch said.
"I hope you won't forget me." I sighed.
"It's one month and we act like we'll never see each other again." Mitch giggled suddenly.
"Yeah. I'll go now... Can I kiss you?" I smiled.
"Of course you can." Mitch smiled back.
And then I kissed him. Our last kiss until we see each other again. If he didn't find someone else.
I walk to the hallway, giving Mitch a last smile. I close the door behind me and turn to face Kirstin.
To my surprise there's a boy standing next to her. He looks... hairy.
"Oh... Hello." I said.
"Hi there, dude. I guess I'm early." The boy said.
"Y-Yeah... I'm Scott. Are you Mitch's new roommate?" I asked.
"I think I am." The boy said as he held out his hand and I shaked it. "My name is Beau."
