Hermione took a deep breath, squeezing Sirius' hand before taking a photo out of the beaded bag that she was gripping onto with her left hand. She smiled down at the small photo before showing it to the 3 boys and Lily. They all crammed round to look, Sirius being the first to see it as he was sat closest. He looked to the young witch sat next to him with confusion. On the photo, were 2 young boys and 1 girl, all wearing Gryffindor robes, looking no older than 12. On the left was a bushy haired girl holding yellow paged books, on the right was a ginger haired boy with a small grin on his freckled face. The boy in the middle, held Sirius' confusion as he looked exactly like James. His black hair was tousled and he wore the same circular glasses that belonged to his brother.

"The girl on the left is me. Hermione Granger. The 2 boys are my best friends. Were my best friends." Hermione corrected herself. "The ginger haired boy is Ronald. Ronald Weasley, the boy who sent me here. The boy in the middle was the greatest wizard I have ever met. Defeated Voldemort when he was just a baby." Lily gasped, covering her mouth with her hand. Tears threatened to spill and James pulled her into a side hug, rubbing circles on his girlfriend's hand.

"Who is he?" James asked.

"Harry Potter. Your son, James, yours too Lily" Hermione answered, her eyes focused on her feet whilst the others stared at her in great curiosity.

"But.... But I don't have a son...." James trailed off whilst Lily shook her head in disbelief.

"You don't now. But you will." Hermione replied in a casual manner as though talking about the weather. "You see, I'm not from here. My name is Hermione Granger and I was born 1979."

"1979? But its only 1977. I think you're making a mistake." Remus corrected.

"There's no mistake Remus." She replied.

"That's impossible. Unless.... No.... You can't be...." Lily stuttered.

"Yes Lily. I'm from the future. I was sent here from 1998." Sirius shook his head at the young girl in disbelief before looking at the others in the room who were wearing similar expressions to his.

"Prove it." James remarked.

"By what?" Hermione asked.

"What forms do our Animagus' take?" Sirius questioned.

"You're a grim hence the name Padfoot. James is a stag hence the name Prongs. Remus is a werewolf hence the name Moony." Hermione answered, expertly, not at all fazed by the looks that everyone was giving her. Sirius squoze her hand and as the young witch looked back at him, he sent her a warm smile, trying to tell her that he believed her.

"I don't believe you. Sirius could have told you any of that." James protested and Sirius couldn't help but look at his brother disgusted.

"I wouldn't. I've never told anyone, why would I tell Hermione?" Sirius questioned. James shrugged his shoulders in response and motioned for Hermione to continue with her story.
