"Wake up Hermione! Remus is waiting downstairs for you!" A familiar voice screamed down Hermione's ear. Hermione groaned in response before hiding her head in her pillow and pulling the covers up over her head, blocking out the screams from her best friend.

"Hermione! You have to wake up!" Lily's voice rang out again. When Hermione groaned once more, Lily ripped the cover away from Hermione, causing a cold breeze to surround her.

"Go away Lily, I'm tired. You kept me up all night talking about Sirius." Hermione shouted back as she heard Lily's sigh of annoyance and the slight tapping of footsteps on the stairs.

"Speaking about me again Hermione? Didn't know you were so keen about me." Another familiar voice spoke, making Hermione jump out of bed to see the grey eyed marauder smirking down at her causing a blush to creep up her neck and it was only then that Hermione realised what she must look like.

Her already bushy hair was frizzy and piled up into a bun on the top of her head that she had left it in from the night before, she was wearing a very short pair of pink shorts and a short sleeved white pyjama t-shirt, both having been borrowed from Lily which reminded Hermione that she would have to buy herself some new clothes when the first Hogsmeade trip came around.

"I think we need to buy you some new clothes don't you think sunshine?" Sirius spoke, repeating her thoughts, snapping her out of her daze. "Although, I think you should keep them shorts...." Sirius trailed off, smirking at the red-faced witch in front of him. "Get changed, you're late for Ancient Runes, Remus is waiting downstairs for you so you don't have to walk by yourself but he said that if you don't hurry up he's leaving."

Hermione felt like a bucket full of cold water had been tipped over her head. She was late. Again. Lily was so dead when she got her hands on her. She instantly snapped out of her sleep deprived state, grabbing her robes off the chair next to her bed where she had left them last night. Not caring about the still smirking boy, who stood watching her, Hermione stripped her pyjamas, throwing them on the floor and pulling her shirt and skirt on, leaving her black robe behind after looking at the blazing sun outside, she doubted she would need it, especially with the way her cheeks were heating up with the thought that Sirius was watching her change.

Glancing a look at the black-haired marauder, she noticed that his infamous smirk that claimed his face most days was gone, replaced by pale skin, wide eyes and his mouth open fully.

"Close your mouth Sirius. You'll stick like that." Hermione commented, hoping that her embarrassment wasn't as clear on her face as she thought it was.

Sirius remained motionless, not able to tear his gaze away from the frizzy haired witch. Hermione sighed before pulling her hair tie from her hair, letting it fall to her shoulders. Running over to her bed side table, she pulled open the draw, grabbing her hair brush before pulling it through her hair. Hermione placed the brush back in her draw before grabbing her brown satchel that Dumbledore had given her from the floor, pulling it onto her shoulder and running out of the dorm.

Realising that Sirius was still in her dorm, Hermione ran back up the stairs to see Sirius in the same position she had left him in. She planted a kiss on his cheek before running out of the dorm, hoping that he would leave soon after.

"Don't go looking through any of my stuff Sirius. Or Lily's. Or anyone's. Just please don't." Hermione shouted up the stairs, knowing that Sirius would take the open invitation to do so. Meeting Remus in the common room, the two ran to their class, Hermione tying her tie whilst running, hoping that their teacher would give mercy to the two stragglers.
