Hermione walked into her DADA class (I'm too lazy, stop judging me) followed by Sirius, Remus, Lily and James. She couldn't wait for the day to be over and was glad that this was the last lesson of the day. The day had been eventful so far and Hermione wanted nothing more than to crawl into her bed and hide under her covers but she couldn't do that. Not yet anyway....

The seat next to Hermione was scraped back and she smiled at Remus who sat down next to her. He rested a hand on her leg, sending her a smile.

"Lily told us what you said before Transfig, I don't want you to blame yourself, it's not your fault okay?" Remus said, eyebrows raised in question to which Hermione nodded back to, not wanting to worry him anymore than he was.

"Don't lie. I can smell it on you. Your blaming yourself." Remus said and Hermione stared at him dumbfounded. He could 'smell' it on her?

"I'm a werewolf 'Mione, I can tell you right now which girls are on their time of the month." Remus whispered to her and Hermione sniggered before covering her mouth with her hand and sending an apologetic look to Professor Taylor.

"It's not funny. It's so awkward...." Remus whispered again.

"It so is. I'd love to be able to do that. You could use that for your own advantage." Hermione snorted to herself.

"Shut up." Remus said back, sending her a glare.

"Mr Lupin, tell me, what is the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?" Professor Taylor asked.

Sirius, James, Lily and Hermione burst into fits of laughter at the question but Remus stared back at them, not finding their reaction very funny.

"An Animagus is a wizard or witch who elects to turn into an animal. A Werewolf has no choice." Remus said and muttered sarcastically under his breath, "don't I know?" which received a small laugh from Hermione. "With each full moon, when he transforms, he no longer remembers who he is. He would kill his best friend if he crossed his path. The werewolf only responds to the call of its own." Remus finished and if Hermione didn't know his secret she would be impressed by his knowledge.

"Well done Mr Lupin. It seems you were paying attention. 10 points to Gryffindor." The Slytherins scowled at this.

"Good save Mr Lupin." Hermione muttered and he smirked at her, a sight he thought she'd never see. He was spending way too much time with Sirius.

Hermione was listening to Professor Taylor talking about Animagus' when a flying paper aeroplane landed in front of her on the desk. She looked behind her, in the direction it had come from, and saw Sirius smiling back at her, motioning to the piece of paper.

Hermione grabbed the paper and read the note that he had wrote to her.

Meet me after class before I have to go,

I need to speak to you

Hermione wondered what he wanted to tell her, where he had to go, but Professor Taylor sent her a glance that just showed that she wasn't impressed.

Hermione shrugged and shook her head, trying to convince Taylor that it wasn't her. Professor Taylor looked over her head at Sirius, giving him a questioning look but he pointed at James who was sat next to him, busy doing his work.

"Mr Potter, one more interruption and you can have a detention Friday after school." Professor Taylor said, startling James and making Sirius and Hermione snigger behind their hands.

"But-But I didn't do anything?" James said, in a questioning tone as if he doubted himself.

"One more word Mr Potter, I'm warning you." Taylor warned.
