"Hermione, where are we going?"
The bushy haired witch paid no mind to the brown-haired boy who ran after her down the corridors. Her breath was ragged, a pain shot up her abdomen and her arm throbbed where the scar was but still, she ran like her life depended on it, never once looking back. Never once glancing at the students who quickly moved out of her way like she'd just escaped a mental institution. If she had, she would have noticed the young bleached-haired wizard, lurking in the shadows with a smirk gracing his face.

Hermione pulled her wand from her pocket before looking at the wizard behind her.
"You.... have to.... go.... back....." Hermione panted, her breathing irregularly after all the running.
"I did not just run all the way outside for you to say go back. Nuh-uh. Nada. Never. Non." Matthew spoke, his arms folded over his chest and in any other situation, Hermione would have laughed.
"I don't want you getting hurt."
"And I don't want you to go without me. Now where are we going? Field trip time." Matthew said childishly, jumping up and down and clapping his hands together.
"I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THIS, NOTT" Hermione shouted, before conjuring up the manor in her mind and disappearing from the school.
----------------------------------------------------------
Hermione landed in the darkness of the manor. It was cold, and she could barely see her hands in front of her.
"Lumos"
"Ahhh... Miss Dumbledore, I've been expecting you..." A cold voice spoke and a fireplace at the opposite end of the room roared into action, revealing a figure sat on a leather chair, almost as if it was a throne. Voldemort. And it suddenly clicked.
"You... you tricked me?" Hermione whispered, her hand shaking slightly.
"Oh, you came for your brother and your boyfriend, didn't you?" The figure spoke in a teasing tone used for children. "Oh, don't worry. They're here."
Footsteps could be heard, and Hermione spun around in circles, waiting for the oncoming attacker, her wand in front of her, a spell lingering on the tip of her tongue. 2 figures came out of the shadows, walking almost robotically and the young witch had to stifle a gasp.
"What do you think, Miss Dumbledore?" Voldemort spoke.
"What-what did you do to them?" Hermione all but screamed.
"An adaption of the imperio curse. They're almost trapped in it. They can see us, can hear us, know what they're doing but they've been trained to recognise only your face. They've been told to hate you. To destroy you at any given moment. They will kill you and they get to experience themselves doing it and they can't do anything about it."
"You're horrible. I care about them. They care about me." Hermione whispered, mostly to herself.
"And that's why its so amazingly cruel...." He trailed off, staring at Dennis and Sirius as though they were prizes. "Now, kill her"
The two boys remained stood in the exact same spot, staring at Hermione.
"KILL HER" Voldemort's voice screamed but they remained still.
Hermione looked over at the two boys, her brows furrowed and confused. They were meant to kill her. Why weren't they. And it was only when she noticed a slight hand movement from Dennis as he pulled his wand from his back pocket that she realised the curse hadn't worked. She glanced over at Sirius, asking silent questions, wondering if it hadn't worked on him also. And then he winked at her, before grabbing his own wand and pressing against Voldemorts neck as Dennis pointed his own wand at him too.
"You really thought you were that clever, didn't you?" Sirius questioned, venom seeping through his every word.
A brief spell of fear found its way onto the pale faced wizard before it disappeared completely.
"You can't kill me, Mr Black. It is completely impossible..." Voldemort spoke.
"I don't want to kill you. I pity you." Sirius replied as Hermione pointed her wand towards snake face. "You won't win this. You think you can beat us because you have a few teenage followers and the elder wand?"
A gasp slipped from Hermione's lips. He had the elder wand.
"Stupefy." The bushy haired witch whispered, and Voldemort stumbled backwards, caught off guard.
"You think you can win, girl?" He replied, a smirk on his face.
"Yes." Hermione replied simply. "Expelliarmus"
"Protego. Too slow, Miss." Snake face answered.
"Petrificus totalus" Dennis spoke, his voice wavering only slightly as the tall wizard fell to the floor.
"Really, Dennis?" Sirius questioned, his arms folded.
"What? It worked." The brown-haired boy replied.
Hermione walked forward, her steps slow, taking her time before she stood over the wizard.
"I'm going to make this clear so that your small-minded brain can comprehend okay? You leave my friends alone. You leave me alone. Okay? Or do I need to write it down for you?" Her voice was cold, and it sent shivers down her own spine. She crouched down next to him and pulled the wand from his pale, cold hands. "I'll take this if you don't mind. I'm sure my father is missing it."
And with that, she walked away, grabbing onto the two boys who stared at her stunned before disappearing with a pop, leaving the figure lay on the floor of the manor.
--------------------------------------------------
The minute they land in the corridors, Sirius walks off, his hands clenched into fists.
"Sirius?" Hermione questioned and although she received no answer, the young wizard stopped before turning around. "Please talk to me."
"You sure you don't want to talk to your boyfriend?" He spoke, coldness seeping through every word.
"I miss you." The young witch spoke. "I miss all of you but you've all shut me out and I don't understand why."
"You have a boyfriend." Sirius stated, similarly to the way Lily had said, as though it excused their actions.
"Why does everyone class that as an excuse to ignore me? I'm sick of it. I thought we were friends..." She trailed off, a single tear falling from her eyes.
"And I thought we had something special, so I suppose we both guessed wrong." He spoke, no anger left, more just disappointment.
Hermione stepped forward, taking Sirius' hands in hers. "It's fake. I'm just trying to get in the death eater circle. Trying to make them trust me so that I can kill him. So that you all don't get hurt again."
"You-you're trying to protect us?" The black-haired marauder asked and after receiving a nod from the bushy haired witch in front of him, he pulled her into a hug. "I missed you Hazel."
"Hazel? You've been talking to Remus." Hermione spoke, pulling away.
"He told you?" She nodded. "That was our code name for you." A sheepish smile graced his face and his face blushed red.
"I like it." Hermione confirmed, smiling back.
"I'm still here, you know?" A voice shouted, and they dissolved into laughter after realising that they'd left Dennis watching.
"Get over it. I'm your sister. You have to deal with me." Hermione teased before grabbing the two boys' arms as they walked back to the common room.
