They've evolved because of their love, but being lovestruck hasn't brought changes overnight. They've taken time to fight with their feelings, authenticating their relatability to real life people.
That's one thing I always loved about Shivika's journey, love hasn't changed them directly, rather indirectly. Their hearts melted for each other but unknowningly. She battled with the image of him that haunted her because he was nice to his family (something she adored) but a ruthless prick for everyone else. He battled with his ideas and ideologies because he wasn't willing to let go off either of the two, the things that had defined his actions and the woman that became his definition of love. In all this both have struggled with their thoughts and yes love has been a factor but they've both changed as people. Their thought processes have changed. Their views have changed. All genuinely. All based off progression. She didn't drop before him because she lost her heart, he didn't drop before her because he was fearful of losing her, all instantly. They've battled with their love and everything else to unite as one. They've been together, their for each other, even when they were indecisive. Love only made them realize there are other perspectives one can view things from. But it was never blind trust. That trust developed overtime. Based off observance, understanding and the slow and steady development of their relationship as individuals, not lovers.
