Caught in the Storm

Chapter 1

I parked my car in the school parking lot,excited to be back from winter break. I got out of my car and headed towards the school. I hope that Abby and Noel are here. You see we are called Hell's Angels and we don't really know why they call us that, but we really don't care. Abby, Noel and I are the most popular girls at school. We head to first period and sit next to each other like always. My favorite season is winter, plus I think it has to do with the fact that I can control snow and ice. I looked down at my snowflake necklace and smile softly. It was my moms before she died. She was the white power ranger samurai and she passed all that power to me after she passed. The only one that knows of my power is my life long friend Jayden's mentor Ji. He knew my family and I'm glad that he doesn't tell anyone else my secret. From what he's told me the rangers defeated Master Xandred about a year and a half ago. I took out what I needed for class. I then started to pay attention in class. Then before I knew it, it was time for lunch. I spoted my girls and went over to the table. I then sat down at the table after putting my tray down.

"Oh my god today has been so boring." Noel says.

"Tell me about it. James tried to hit on me again today."

"What an asshole. I mean he's cute and all but what about your childhood best friend you were talking about. What was his name Casey?" Abby asks.

"His name was Jayden." I say looking down at my hands.

Too be honest I really miss him and I hope that I can see him soon. I the felt something wrong and then looked at my necklace. My mom told me that if we were really needed that it would glow to let us know. One thing I love about being a senior is that I get to sign myself in and out of school whenever I want to. I stood up and grabbed my backpack then looked at my girls.

"I'll be back later. I have to leave and do something."

"Will you be back?" Abby asks.

"I'll try to be back before the end of the day."

They both nod and I then head towards the office. I sign myself out and then walked out of the school. I then grabbed my samurarizer and then called Ji.

"Hello?" He says.

"Ji it's Casey."

"Ah Casey, good to hear from you."

"I know me too. I feel something weird, what's going on?"

"Xandred is back and even more powerful this time, also that his moogers are in your area. Jayden is trying to summon the others, its up to you now Casey."

"Can I come over to the Shiba house afterwards?" I asked him.

"Of course, do you want me to have Jayden stay away from the house or are you ok with seeing him?"

"I don't know Ji, I'll call you when I'm on my way there."

"Sounds good Casey. Be safe out there."

"I will. Bye Mentor."

He said goodbye then I morphed into my white ranger suit. I run and see the nighlock. They spot me and all I can do is smirk.

"We're back."

I then start fighting them having the time of my life. Let's see if all the training paid off. I groan when they kicked my stomach and I fell to the ground. I then see the other rangers and my eyes immediately go to the red one; Jayden. He comes over to me and helps me up.

"Thank you." I say softly.

"Its no problem. Thanks for the help."

"It's apart of what I do."

"Thank god they were just moogers." He says softly.

"Yea but don't forget there's no rest for the wicked."

"Yea that's true." He says demorphing into my childhood best friend Jayden.

"I must go. I have to keep training for this kind of stuff. Nice working will you all."

The all nod and I leave going to the Shiba House. I want to see Jayden again because I felt something when he touched me to help me up. I walked into the yard and spotted Mentor. He looks up and smiles when he sees me.

"Hey Mentor."

"Hi Casey. Heard you helped out the others."

"Yea. I wanted to come back and help with all the nighlocks that will be around. Plus I wanted to see Jayden." I say blushing.

"He likes you too Casey. Every time he looks at the picture of you two when you were younger he has this look in his eyes. He missed you and he would be glad that your back."

"He won't know that I'm the White Ranger right?"

"Not unless you want him to know that you are."

"Not yet. I want to be the one that tells him."

He nods and we both head in the house and go in the kitchen. I make us both some tea. I smile softly after I make it. I then hand him his and we engage in small conversation. I just smile as we both enjoy each others company until Jayden shows up with the other rangers.
