Caught in the Storm

Chapter 13

My girls and I move quickly throughout the halls trying to get to class. I was trying to avoid Jayden and the other rangers. I didn't want cause drama between anyone because I was sick of everything. Sure I wanted him back and my girls knew that. I didn't want to give into my temptations and fall back and be with him unless he talks about what happened. I want him to apologize for not going against my wishes and tell the others about us being together. Even if we are not then I want him to tell them even though we aren't back together. We made it to class and we sat in the back in our usual seats.

"I hope that we have a sub today." Abby tells me.

"I can totally agree with that. I hope today is different that yesterday."

"Me to." Says Noel.

We wait for our teacher to come in and it turns out to be our normal teacher. He goes through the attendance list and everyone was here. Once class was over I bolted out with my girls hot on my tail. I just wanted it to be lunch so I can just hang with my friends without people causing any drama. A few hours and many classes later it was finally lunch. I made my way to the cafeteria to meet up with my girls when suddenly I was pulled to an empty hallway and pushed against the lockers.

"I don't know who you are but let me go."

"It's sad that you don't recognize my voice princessa."

I freeze when I feel hands on my waist, the familiar sparks ran through my body. I look up and spot Jayden smiling down at me.

"Why won't you talk to me?"

"I don't want to talk to someone who won't tell his friends about us."

"You agreed to it too Casey."

"Yea but I was hoping that you would turn around and at least tell them." I say softly with tears in my eyes.

"Please don't cry Casey. I don't like seeing you like this."

I let one fall and felt him wipe my tears, I honestly miss his touch.

"Tell your fiends about us, then come and find me. Antonio was right." I say.

I pull away from him and started to head to the cafeteria. Jayden then grabbed my wrist and pulled me to his chest. He kept me close to him nuzzling the top of my head. I instinctively wrapped my arms around him. We fit perfectly like a puzzle put back together again. I put my face in his chest smiling. He then pulls away from me and I spot his ring in his finger. He spots what I was looking at and took it off. Then he grabbed my right hand and put it on my middle finger. It was back to where it was originally.

"Keep it. I gave it to you, it belongs to you." He says softly.

"Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes Casey. I wouldn't want anyone to have to but you. Your my girl whether we're dating or not. Please reconsider being my girlfriend Cas. I miss you."

"Will the others be out later?" I asked him.

"I can send them out why what's going on in that pretty little head of yours?"

"I'll come over later. Just me and you so we can talk about everything."

"I like that idea. I'll see you later princess." He says then kisses the top of my head.

He lets me go and I go to the cafeteria grabbing lunch. I sit down with my girls and began eating. They looked at me with confused looks on their faces.

"You ok?" Abby asks

"Yea I'm fine why?"

"I saw you with Jayden. I didn't know what was said so I won't ask until your ready to talk about it." Noel says.

"It's nothing. We just settled differences and that was it." I say.

They nod and left it alone for the rest of the day. I feel all giddy inside for our meeting later.
