Caught in the Storm

Chapter 22

Jayden led me inside and to our room and placed me on the bed after he demorphed from him ranger suit. I see him come over and lay down next to me. He then scans up and down my body.

"What's wrong Jay?" I asked.

"I want to see the bruises." He says.

"No you don't Jayden. They are hideous."

"Let me see. Please babe."

I groaned but nodded seeing him sit near me. He then hovers over me and places a kiss on my neck. I feel his hands unbutton my pants and then take off my shirt. He then goes and slides my pants down my legs and puts them next to my shirt on the floor. He frowns seeing the handprint that Antonio left on my thigh.

"Whose handprint is this?" He growls.

"A-Antonio's." I say softly.

"He will pay for this. Both of them will. They hurt you and they won't get away with it."

I sit up still in my bra and panties smiling softly. My hand goes and cups his cheek. His eyes were dark with anger like he was trying to hold something back.

"Baby....calm. Please I'm fine. I'm right here and I'm safe. Whatever is going on in your head get rid of it. I love you Jayden."

"I can't calm down something inside me wants to kill. Casey you have leave me before I kill you."

"No Jayden. You won't hurt me, you know deep down that we were meant to be together no matter what we go through. Besides I have to tell you something." I say softly.

"What do you need to tell me love?" He asks now curious.

I just smile and I get up off the bed. I then called to my tiger. I then changed into my white tiger with purple stripes and purple eyes. Jayden looked at me and he was scared a bit. Then his facial features softened. He came over to me and petted me causing me to purr in happiness.

"So beautiful." He says smiling.

I changed back into myself and sat on the bed in front of him.

"Your a snow tiger?" He says.

"Yea," I say looking down. "I'm sorry I didn't say anything to you. I was gonna tell you but things happened."

"I get it princess. I understand."

I smile then peck his lips. When I pull away he takes my hand and holds it. I don't know what to say to I just stay quiet.

"I was gonna also tell you that your my mate as well." I say.

"Mate?" He says confused.

"Yea....um. We tigers have half of our souls when we are born. We don't know that until our parents tell us at age 13 when we go through puberty and we change for the first time. At age 16 we are old enough to find our mates. When we find our mates our souls are whole again and we get possessive of them. As we spend more time with our mates they share the possessiveness that we have. If they are human your eyes darken like if you were to shift but you don't because that's the part that we block. See if you wanted to become a snow tiger like me then I would have to do an ancient ritual to unlock your inner snow tiger."

"Do you know where this ritual is?"

"Yes, it's somewhere hidden where no one can get it. Only I know where the place is. Jayden you can't tell anyone about me."

"I won't, but can I ask why?"

"I have people after me. They want to get their hands on the ritual, I'm the only one that can do it. I'm a special asset to them if they get their hands on me."

"I won't let that happen baby but why just you?"

"Cause I can create other snow tigers and they might force me to create more female snow tigers."

"I'm still not understanding."

I growled lowly frustrated already as it is. I took a deep breath and calmed down not wanting to snap at my boyfriend.

"I'm the only female snow tiger that was created and my power is that I can create more snow tigers male or female. My mom wasn't one, but my dad was. For many generations only male snow tigers were born. If they had a female they would die in the womb."

"You survived though."

"Yes I did. Something inside gave me the strength to stay alive like I was meant for something bigger and better than being a ranger. There's so much that I haven't done and I can't wait to explore what they are."

"I hope that I can be apart of whatever your going through."

"You will be. You will always be there and I know that cause your my best friend."

"I'm not only your friends but I'm your lover and your boyfriend." He says smiling softly.

He then leans over and kisses me deeply. He was gentle with me and I smile softly. I pull away.

"Jay what about Antonio and James?" I asked.

"I'll deal with them in the morning. All that matters now is you and me."

I just nod and he kisses me again. As we kiss he removes my clothing and I do the same as him. Things then really take off for the night.

It's so good to be back home in Jayden's arms.
