Caught in the Storm

Chapter 9

I woke up the next morning and found the bed next to me empty. I then spotted my backpack on the floor and I smiled softly. I grabbed it and packed any clothes that I had here. Then I left Jayden a note and left his ring on top of it. I then changed after and then walked out glad everyone was gone. I then spot mentor who then locks eyes with me.

"Casey where are you going?" He asks me softly.

"I can't stay here anymore Mentor. I have to get back."

"Get back where?" He asks.

"Back to the real world. I can't be a ranger anymore Mentor."

He comes over to me and then hugs me.

"Do what you have to."

"Here Mentor."

He pulls away from me and then I grab my Polar Bear Zord and samurarizer. I see him nod.

"I hope that you find what your looking for. Do you want me to tell Jayden?"

"No because I don't want him to find me. I already said my goodbyes in the letter I wrote him. Do you want me to keep these?"

"Yes they are after all your mothers."

"Yea that's your right mentor. I will just keep them hidden from my friends."

"Good luck with hiding them from your friends and don't forget to keep in contact with me. I at least want to know what's going on in your life."

"I will, goodbye Mentor."

"Bye Casey."

I then walked out of the Shiba house and to my car which was parked outside. I grabbed my phone and called Abby. She picked up.

"Hey Casey. What's up?"

"Can I come live with you for awhile?"

"Oh yea of course. Noel and I have wondered where you been. You will have to explain that to us when you get here."

"Of course I will. Call her and let her know that I'm heading over and we can have a girls night and I will explain everything."

"That sounds like a plan. See you real soon."

"Yea. Bye for now."

"Bye."

I hung up my phone and started my car. I then headed over to Abby's house. Once I got there I got out of the car and grabbed my backpack then headed up to the house and knocked on the door. She answered the door a few moments later and smiled at me. 

"Hey Casey. Come on in."

I nod then walk in the house and I smile spotting Noel sitting on the couch. I put my bag on the counter and went and sat near my friends smiling. I am so glad that I have my friends here with me. They all look at me concern evident in their faces. 

God what did I get myself to now?
