Caught in the Storm

Chapter 16

Jayden and I sat down at the head of the group, well it was more like I did and Jayden stood behind me putting his hands on my shoulders. I place one of my hands on Jayden's glad he was here to support me.

"Why didn't you tell us about you being the White Ranger?" Kevin asked.

"I was told I wasn't allowed to say anything."

"By who?" Emily asked.

"By my guardian and my mom. The only one that knew was mentor and please don't get mad at him, he was only doing his job by protecting you guys."

"Jayden did you know about this?" Mike asks him.

"I did not know until a few days after she arrived."

I see them all nod and made sure that they were ok with everything. I smile seeing Lauren come in the room. She comes over to me and Jayden and stood near us.

"Welcome back Casey." She says.

"Thanks Laur. Look guys I'm really sorry that I hid this from you."

"We're not mad we were just shocked that's all." Mia says.

"I understand. Um another thing, my friends Abby and Noel know about us being rangers."

"Why did you tell them?" Antonio says a bit harshly.

"I'm sorry if I was trying to be honest with my group of friends. Besides I know something you guys don't." I say smirking.

"What do you know Casey?" Emily asks.

"I know that I have friends that like Antonio and Kevin." I says smirking.

"Wait your group of friends like us?" Kevin asks.

"Yea. You guys must meet each other soon."

"We also have something else to tell you guys." Jayden says.

I looked up at Jayden who looked back at me smiling softly. I then nod at him knowing exactly what he wanted to tell them.

"We wanted to tell you that Casey and I are together. Like we are dating." He says shyly.

I smile and kiss his hand, since I knew that this was hard for him. Everyone was smiling at us except Antonio. I looked over at him.

"What's got your panties in a twist Tony?" I asked a bit harshly.

"No, there's no problem." He said through gritted teeth.

"Clearly there is otherwise you wouldn't be smiling like the rest of them are." Jayden says.

"I hate that you have her Jayden." He says then gets up and leaves. 

Everyone just looks at us then they go and leaves to go and do their own thing. It was just Jayden and I. He then sat in front of me and took my hand, not looking at me. 

"Something is going on with Antonio." He tells me.

"I'm going to see what's going on with him."

"Let me know what you find out. Oh and Casey."

"Yes Jay?"

"Be safe."

"Of course I will be safe, it's Antonio that we are talking about." I say smiling.

He nods as I stand up and kiss the top of his head then go to Antonio's room, hoping that he's there so that way we can talk.
