Caught in the Storm

Chapter 7

~Jayden's POV~
I tried going after Casey but they just all of a sudden disappeared. I looked down and her her Polar Bear Zord. I picked it up and put it in my pocket after I demorphed from my ranger suit. The others came over to me and didn't say anything.

"Why did she say anything to us about it?" Mike says.

"Maybe she has her fucking reasons!" I snapped.

"Whoa man calm down. Why do you care so much?" Kevin says.

"Because I'm her best friend and I really care about her."

"There has to be another reason why you care so much about her." Antonio says giving me a knowing look.

"Jayden what is Antonio talking about?" Mia asks.

I don't say anything because I know that Casey doesn't want them to know yet. I'm doing it out of respect her because she's probably freaking out about being taken by the nighlok and smell the fact that her secret just got out.

"Let's go back to and make a plan to get her back." I mumbled.

They all just nod and we head back to the Shiba House. I'm just wondering how they will react when they find out that I have a sister and that I'm going to have to leave and that I'm also leaving Casey in charge of the team. I just hope that they will take it well. I trust her enough to take over my team that is great at understanding things.

"Look I'm not going to say anything because its a private matter."

"I think I may know what it may be." Emily says.

"What do you think Em?" I say softly.

"Your in love her aren't you?"

"Yes I am Emily."

"Does she know?"

"In a way yes."

"At least she knows."

"Yea, can we please stop talking about this please." I ask softly.

They all nod and we go and sit around the small table. They stare at me intently.

"Its getting a bit late and we will find her in the morning. I wan everyone to get a good nights sleep."

They all leave me alone in the room and then I see Mentor walk in. He looked just as upset as I feel right now.

"What happened?"

"Casey got taken today. She saved my life and I couldn't be even more grateful than I am now."

"How did she manage to do that?"

"She jumped in and fought the nighlok. She must've noticed that this was the same nightlong that we had fought before. She stepped in and helped us."

"You have to get her back soon before Lauren comes back."

"How do you know that Lauren was coming back soon?" I asked.

"I read the letter in your room."

"Oh ok." I say softly.

"Go get some rest and we will find her. Trust me we will."

I nod and head to my room then I go and lay down on my bed. We will find her and I hope that we will find her soon.
