I am woken up with two plump lips pressed to my ear.
"Wake up Else." Harry says rubbing my back. When I open my eyes I'm curled up in a ball against Harry's chest and my face is buried in his neck.
"Mmmm." I groan, "One more minute." I say laying my head on his chest.
"Elsie." He laughs. I can feel his chest quaking, "Come on love." Harry rolls over so I'm lying on the mattress. His thin legs swing over the side so he can stand. He looks over at me and smiles.
"Ugh." I close my eyes and wrap myself in the comforter.
There is a pause.
"You're not leaving me. Are you?" I whisper with my eyes still closed.
"Never." He says leaning down and kissing my cheek, "You're too beautiful." He groans.
"Shhh sleep." I whisper.
"Nope." Suddenly there's a pair of strong arms under me and I'm being lifted out of bed. My ribs ache and my head feels a bit lighter as it bobs with my body.
"Put me down." I say as I open my eyes and cling to his tall frame. I'm bigger than other girls and I'm very surprised Harry isn't on the floor right now, but he seems okay...
"Fine." He groans. I feel the soft carpet under my feet, "But we're already a little late so hurry your ass up." His fake harshness causes a laugh to pour through my lips.
"Sure." I find the jeans and tee that Harry gave me last night and start to walk into the bathroom. Due to the events last night he doesn't push me at all.
Don't get me wrong- it was pleasure at the max. But I just couldn't with all of the questions falling through my brain.
I change into the clothes and rinse out my mouth with some mouthwash before walking to meet Harry by the door. I love this apartment. The industrial brick halls, the slick black floors, the cloudy windows rusting along the edges. It's not chic or new, it's like us... it's broken and worn down but no one questions why. No one can judge us here.
Harry takes my hand and leads me out of the building. The empty halls giving me a peaceful feeling before another day in hell. I keep my eyes locked on the ground as we reached the car. The click of the doors sounded before I clambered onto the high seat with my bag slung on my shoulder.
The radio plays softly in the background as I lean against the window and watch the morning drizzle run down the glass. It's eerily quiet and all I can do is sit still and get mugged by my thoughts.
Why is this moving so fast?
Can I trust Harry?
Goddamn. My mind won't shut up and it makes me wonder if Harry's secretly driving me to a mental asylum.
Welcome to Briarcliff.
No. I wish I was going to a mental asylum run by demented nuns. Kind of...
