The whole damn class period he was burnin a whole in the back of my neck. To be honest I was gettin irritated by the s***t cuz frankly we could just talk about it. He wants to be petty so whatever i'll let him stay mad, and however else he feelin. Towards the end of the hour I asked to go use the bathroom. I wasnt really plannin on goin since it was already so late so I just roamed the halls. While doing so I ran into Dre hugged up on some girl. When he saw me he jumped off of her like I caught him cheatin or something. I just laughed because it was funny as hell that he so use to gettin in trouble.
Dre: Whats good Shawn?
Shawn: Hey Dre, wussup Kesh.(i smiled)
Kesh: Hey(she replied dryly)
Shawn: Well dont let me hold yall up I was just passin by.(i said walkin off)
Kesh: Yea u do that.(she said lookin at me funny)
I stopped and looked her up and down for a minute. F***k is this b***h problem and why she givin me so much attitude. I dont even talk to her ass like that.
Shawn: U got a problem?(i said twistin up my face)
Kesh: No but I can get one if u want me to.(she snapped back)
I just laughed her off as I walked away.
Dre: Aye shawn hold up let me talk to u for a second.
Shawn: Nah im good stay wit yo friend clearly she need some attention.
Dre: Man f***k her I need to talk to u.
Kesh: WHAT!?
Dre: B***h u heard me take yo ass on somewhere!
She looked from me to him and then stormed off, but I had a smirk on my face which prolly pissed her off even more.
Dre: Anyway, so whats this I hear about u kissin on Que?
Shawn: I dont see why thats yo business.
Dre: Not on no bulls***t I was just askin, but I know the answer now. So yall go together?
Shawn: Dre why are u askin me all these question? Regaurdless of what im doin wit who it aint gone change nothin between us.
Dre: I know that but damn I cant ask a question. I mean we are friends right?
Shawn: Yea u right, but I dont tell my friends all my business either.
Dre: Iight f***k it then.(he said irritated)
Just when I was about to have a smart remark the bell rung so I left it alone and went on about my business. When lunch hour rolled around I was greeted by Que at the door as he embraced me with a hug. We walked over to our normal spot after we got our food. I noticed the boys lookin at us kinda uncomfortable as we approached to sit down. There was an unusual silence that made everything awkward, and I guess Que got tired of it cuz he spoke up.
Que: What the f***k is yall problem dawg?
Lamont: S***t nigga u tell us whats good.(he said lookin at me)
Que: Shawn is my nigga is it a problem cuz it never seemed to be before.
Lamont: Nah its not a problem I just didnt know u was a f***g G.
Que: NIGGA WHAT!?(he said jumpin up)
Shawn: Que let it go he didnt mean it like that.(i said grabbin him)
Lamont: chill out bro I did-
Que: F***k u dawg u tryna be funny and s***t, man come on bae.(he said gettin up to leave)
Shawn: Lamont dude come on u aint have to say it like that u know he a hot head, damn!
Lamont: Yo shawn I really didnt mean it like that im sorry bro.
Shawn: (i sighed shakin my head) I'll be back yall.
I got up to go look for Que and saw him stormin down the hall way goin outside. The closer I got to him the louder I called his name tryna get him to stop. This dude could be such a loose cannon sometimes, but I love his crazy ass. When I finally caught up to him I jumped on his back tryna make him stop, but it wasnt workin.
Shawn: Que would u calm yo ass down he didnt mean it like that he even apologized.
Que: Man f***k him he knew he couldve said that s***t a different way ole b***h ass nigga. I shoulda knocked his f***kin teeth out his mouth for sayin some foul s***t like that to me. We been boys since middle school, and he aint never came to me like that.
Shawn: Bae he didnt mean it like that u know he aint got nothin against gay people. He been koo wit me all this time after all.
Que: Man I aint tryna hear that s***t, and get yo lil ass off me.(he said gently pushin me off)
Even though he didnt push me hard it still made me feel some kinda way. I guess I was mad because he didnt want me to touch him. So I turned to walk away wit a "Dont give a f***k" attitude.
Shawn: Fine.(i said non-chalantly walkin away)
Que: Where u goin?
Shawn: To eat my food.(i said still walkin)
Que: Aye hold up.(he said grabbin me)
Shawn: What...
Que: So u mad because im mad.(he smiled)
Shawn: Nah im just hungry.(I said lookin away from him)
He pulled me close wrappin his arms around my waist leanin his forehead on mine lookin into my eyes. I hated when he did this s***t because I could never resist his beautiful hazel gaze. He kiss me on the lips still lookin at me in the eyes. I was being stubborn so I had my arms down to my side lookin back at him expressionless.
Que: U still mad?(he asked kissin me)
Shawn: Im not mad.
Que: U sure?(he said kissin me again)
Shawn: Yea bae.(smiled kissin him back) So whats the big suprise?
Que: You'll see after school just be patient.(he smiled)
Shawn: Whatever then come on im hungry.
As we walked back into the school I noticed Courtney flirtin wit some dude. It made me do a double take, and when he saw me he kinda mugged me still talkin to the dude. I shook off the feelings before they came full force and went back to the lunch room. Lamont and the other boys were talkin as we came back in. As soon as he saw Que he jumped up walkin towards us.
Lamont: Que dawg im sorry I aint mean it like that u know we better than that fam.
Que: Its koo bruh.
Lamont: So we good?
Que: Yea we good.(he said dappin him up)
The rest of the day was pretty good from that point aside from dirty looks from Tevon, and dodgin Courtney. When we finally left the school I was relieved to be out of the f***kin war zone, GOD I cant wait to graduate. We went to Que's house first so he could change cloths and then to mine so I could do the same, or so I thought. He already had me and outfit laid out the matched his down to every little detail. Which was a red and black plaid button down wit some black levis, and same color jays. The only difference in the our attire was the fact that he had on a jordan fitted that matched our colors. I got dressed without questioning anything he did until his mama gave him the keys to her car. On the ride to where ever we were goin I asked him.
Shawn: So can I know what we doin and where we doin it now?
Que: We goin to take pictures at the mall for our birthday bae.(he laughed)
Damn I actually forgot all about my damn birthday with all this s***t I been havin goin on. Me and Que were only 10 days apart his bday being May 14th and mine the 24th. After he said that all I could do was smile at him as we held hands on our way there. When we pulled up it was a lot of damn people there for it to be a week day. On our way to inside the mall we ran into my mom. I tried to avoid her but Que retarded ass gone stop me talkin about some damn "Aint that yo mama?". I gave him a look and said "No s***t sherlock!" as she got closer to us.
Ms.Williams: Hey Que how u doin I aint seen u in a while. Hey baby.(she smiled)
Que: Wussup miss D.
Shawn: Hey.
Before she said another word her eyes shifted to me and Que holdin hands. I beat her to the punch before she opened her ignorant mouth, and pissed me off.
Shawn: Ma look dont start please. We'll talk about it later cuz I know u not gone leave it alone.
Ms.Williams: All I was gonna say was th..that u two make a cute couple.
I looked at her shocked, and tried to keep my mouth from hittin the floor. Did she really just compliment me being with another man. Ok, who the hell is this lady and where is my mother? They both saw the look on my as they burst into laughter. After I got over my shock we went to take pictures wit my mom following us. Like I said before she has been really trying to get back in and on the good side of my life. I loved her effort and I know she deserves a chance, but that doesnt mean I have to make it easy. When we got to magic photo there was this very attractive white guy there takin the pictures. He finally turned around enough for me to get a good look at him, and I swear he looked familiar. I turned to ask my mom if she knew him, but she looked just as shocked as I was which confused me even more.
Shawn: Ma do u know him?(i whispered)
Ms.Williams: Shawn....Thats your father.
