So there he was walkin up to me smilin as he pulled me into a hug. Contrary to what most of u think im not talkin to Dre in that manner. Its simply that I wanted to maintain a civil relationship wit a person that was once very important in my life. Although he doesnt fully accept the fact that all we'll ever be from here on out is friends. He, just like Que, respects my wishes as well as my relationship wit Courtney. Even though he respects that doesnt mean he wont still try his luck, and the part that makes it so complicated is the battle I always have inside of my self not to cross that line.
Dre: Wussup shawn.(he smiled)
Shawn: Hey Dre, and why u huggin all on me like that aint u scared of what people might think?
Dre: It is what it is. This is highschool, and im prolly not gone ever see half of these mutha f***kas after I graduate. So I could really give 2 f***ks about what they think.
Shawn: Wow, never thought I would here that come out of yo mouth wit that big ass ego.(i laughed)
Dre: I told u im tryna change, and I meant what I said.
Shawn: Uuuuhhh, u can let me go now.
Dre: Do u really want me too?(he said lookin me in the eyes)
Shawn: Dre cool out man.(i laughed while pushin him off)
Dre: Iight, iight im sorry.(he laughed) So what u doin when u leave here, maybe we can chill later.
Shawn: Nah im suppose to be chill Tevon today.
Dre: So u can give that nigga a chance, but not me?
Shawn: Nigga what are u talkin about?
Dre: Dont act like u dont know that nigga want u. He been after yo ass ever since he had that party.
Shawn: So have u, but u still aint got me either.
Dre: Oh so u got jokes.
Shawn: Just a few.(i smiled)
Dre: Whatever lil dude, but i'll see u later yo.
He walked off after givin me a hug, and headin back in the buildin. The rest of the day flew by and before I knew it I was meetin tevon by his car. Just as I was gettin in a got a call from Courtney and my heart dropped when I saw his name. I started not to answer the phone, but its not like I was doin anything wrong..right?
Shawn: Hey bae.
Court: Wussup shawty.
Shawn: Nothin much leavin school now. Hows the reunion goin are u havin fun?
Court: Its koo seeing a lot of the fam I aint seen I a while. I wish u wouldve came wit me though bae so I could show u off.
Shawn: Nigga I aint no trophy.(i laughed)
Court: I know that, but I do miss yo lil ass. What, u sayin u dont miss me or something?
Shawn: If only u knew.
Court: Its ok daddy gone be back soon.
Shawn: U betta be.
Court: Iigh shawty i'll call u later, love u.
Shawn: Love u too.
I looked over at Tevon and I could see he looked kinda annoyed by the conversation. He tried to crack a smile at me when he noticed me lookin at him, but I knew it was fake.
Shawn: I know u aint over there in yo feelins.(i laughed)
Tevon: Aint nobody in they feelings chill out wit that bro. I know u got a dude.
Shawn: I hope u remember that as long as we over here "chillin".(i said makin air quotes)
Tevon: For your information im talkin to somebody myself.(he said cocky)
I sat quiet for a minute tryna drown out the gut feeling of jealousy I instantly felt when he said that. Actually I didnt say anything after he said that I just looked out the window. I know I had no right to feel some type of way about it, but I do. Aint this a b***h, I was just talkin s***t to this nigga for being in his feelings now look at me.
Tevon: I see I said the wrong thing huh.(he smiled)
Shawn: Why u say that?
Tevon: Cuz now it seem like u the one in yo feelings.
Shawn: I aint got no reason to be.(i said irritated)
Tevon: Awwww my boo dont want me talkin to nobody else.(he laughed)
Shawn: Dude would u just shut up, and drive!
Tevon: Okay I quite for now.
Shawn: Yea, yea.
When we finally got to his house it was bigger than I remembered. I guess a house full of people can do that though. His mom wasnt there so I only assumed she was at work. I followed him to his room, and sat down on his bed as I started to remember the last time I was in here. He went to the bathroom to change his cloths, and get more comfortable. I still wanted to know who he was talkin too though even if I dont have that right, call me nosey.
