4 ~ Hairball

Messily lined up desks in cute little 4-desk groups. Students scribbling away worksheet answers with the roar of an electric pencil sharpener in the back. Some students cringe while others take comfort in this sound.

Suddenly, this 4th grade math classroom is cut out of the ordinary peace by a scream. Fallen out of her seat is a young girl who is clutching her stomach. The teachers tries to make her way over to the lass. By the time the teacher reaches her, the girl is already gone.

The class became hysterical. As a result, the principal closed the school for the remaining of the day. The parents, police, and emergency medical team were called.

The sobbing teacher explained she didn't know what happened. The girl was quietly chewing on her braids, something she had done when working, when she suddenly clutched her stomach and fell to the floor.

An autopsy was preformed and what was found shocked the parents.

"We found that your daughter died of a large obstruction in her intestine. You see, she wasn't merely chewing on her hair. She was eating it. It formed a hairball in her stomach, and it was the hairball that killed her."

Honestly, when reading this, I wasn't surprised. I knew what was gonna happen. When I was really little I remember seeing this on 1,000 Ways To Die. A woman had a HUGE hairball in her stomach.

Is this story true? I'm not sure. Is this capable of happening? Yes, it 100℅ is.
