There was a man named Garry Hoy who loved showing off the strength of the windows in his office. His favorite party trick was to run into his windows as hard as he can, impressing friends with the lacks of cracks in the glass.
One day, on July 9, 1993, Hoy was once again showing off his trick. This time, however, the glass did not hold up. The 39 year-old fell 47 stories down to his death, and is known as the Leaping Lawyer of Bay Street.
In his defense, the window didn't really break. It just fell through.
