A/N: I am very hesitant to post this... With all the school shootings that have gone on this year, this could be controversial, however the meaning of this book is to spark TRUE fear.
DISCLAIMER: There are ZERO reported incidents of a school shooter getting through a locked door.

"The school is on a soft lockdown. Students and teachers, please do not leave your classrooms, but presume the day as normal otherwise." The principal announced through the PA system.
The teacher closed her blinds and covered the classroom door window with a curtain. All the students in her class were primary, so they were nervous. Earlier the teacher had an alert on her phone saying a man suspected of attempting to murder his wife was on the run.
"Alright everyone, stay calm. We'll continue class but no one is to leave or go near the windows." The teacher ordered. The students began going back to their math color-sheet.
One of the students raised her hand. "I need to use the bathroom! Really bad!" The girl told the teacher.
The teacher decided it would be okay, since the bathroom was just down the hall. "Just be quick. When you come back knock three times on the door."
The girl nodded and headed for the bathroom.
About six minutes later, the teacher grew worries. The girl had been gone too long, but she reasoned she was just having trouble finding the stool to wash her hands. She was a rather short girl.
Finally, just on the ten minute mark, the teacher heard the three knocks. Urgent to get the girl inside the classroom before anyone saw her, the teacher opened the door. However, the person on the other end was not the girl.
The man on the run was standing in front of the teacher, the little girl's head in his hand. The teacher shrieked and tried to close the door, but she was overpowered. The man stabbed a knife into her stomach before reaching into his pocket– for a gun.
One by one, every student in the classroom was killed. The police arrived to the massacre and subdued the killer.
