hoseok's legs swung back and forth while he sat in the kitchen chair. he was anxiously awaiting yoongi's return from his studio. the caregiver had promised to put hoseok down for his nap today himself instead of getting namjoon to do it like he had the past few days.
he knew his daddy had been working hard but he still missed him. he loved namjoon of course, but namjoon isn't his daddy.
he decided he'd go see where namjoon was and ask when his daddy was coming to tuck him in.
his bare feet padded along the cold tiles as junior swung from his left hand. he stuck his head in the living room to find namjoon and jungkook watching a tv show.
"hey, prince. is everything okay?" jungkook asked as he saw the little enter the room.
"hi, kookie, hi, nammie. m'okay," he walked over to the couch.
he sat down between them and laid his head against namjoon's shoulder.
"when will daddy come back?" he asked softly.
"it's already time for your nap? i'll go get yoongi-hyung then," jungkook smiled and stood up, but not before ruffling the little's hair playfully.
hoseok let out a loud yawn. namjoon wrapped his arm around his hyung's shoulders. hoseok latched onto his waist.
"you're warm, nammie," he smiled as his eyes began to close.
"uh, thank you, hobi," the younger chuckled in his deep voice looking down at the cute sight.
he didn't mind taking care of hoseok when yoongi-hyung couldn't. it took him awhile to get used to the nicknames since hoseok was older than him, but he was absolutely adorable and very well behaved.
"hey, peach. come to daddy," yoongi's voice filled the room as jungkook returned with him.
the little lifted his head lazily and brightened instantly when he saw his caregiver. he untangled himself from namjoon and shuffled over to his daddy's open arms.
"daddy's back!" hoseok cheered happily and jumped up into yoongi's hold.
his daddy placed his hands under his butt and gave him a pat, "say thank you."
"thank you, joon-joon," hoseok turned and smiled to the younger on the couch.
the cheerfulness on the little's face and in his voice made his heart melt.
"aww what about me, prince?" jungkook pouted and squished the little's cheek from beside yoongi.
"thank you, kookie!" hoseok giggled and leaned over to kiss his cheek. "hobi loves you both very much!"
