hoseok sat up in bed and rubbed his sleepy eyes. his face was red and his eyes were swollen from all the crying he had done. his memory was fuzzy, but he did remember that yoongi left.

he said hoseok didn't want him anymore. why would he say that? while he was deep in thought he didn't hear the footsteps coming towards the door.

"oh, hoseokie, baby, come here," seokjin appeared in the doorway with outstretched arms.

immediately feeling little, hoseok jumped up from the bed and ran into seokjin's embrace. he buried his face into the elder's neck and began to cry once more.

he wanted his daddy back. he wanted to say he was sorry. whatever he did he'd promise to never do it again.

"wh-why, jinnie?" he sniffed.

"i'm sorry, baby," seokjin whispered.

he engulfed the little tighter and cradled his head. he rubbed his back and rocked him back and forth softly.

"let's talk, baby," seokjin murmured.

he hooked his arms under the little and lifted him up. he carried him over to the messy bed and sat down. he grabbed the teddy bear named yong and placed it in hoseok's hands.

"sweetie, your daddy doesn't know what you did yesterday. he thinks you did something very bad," seokjin explained.

hoseok pulled back in his lap and looked at the elder confused, "why would daddy think that?"

"because jimin lied to him," seokjin explained softly.

"why would jiminie do that?" hoseok was even more confused now. did jimin want his daddy to leave him?

that's mean. he shouldn't want anyone's daddy to leave them.

"that's something you and your daddy should talk about, hoseokie. you just need to know that you didn't do anything wrong," seokjin promised leaning to press a small kiss against his forehead.

"is daddy coming back?" hoseok's lip quivered at the thought of being alone again.

"if i have anything to do with it."
