Hell Rapture

Chapter 2

"What's going on?!" Someone yelled, over the blaring alarms and running into a random room.

I covered her ears, trying to block out the blaring noise from doing anymore damage to them, and here I thought today was going to be a regular day at work. I guess not.

"What does it look like to you, it's an emergency!" I said, quickly getting to her desk and slamming a red button hidden under a false wall against one of the drawers, making all the windows have a titanium barrier, so nothing can get in or out.

Screams of other co-workers could be heard along with a demonic screetching sound and the ripping of flesh as they hear something hitting the door.

As the screeting grew louder the screams became quiet with every passing moment, "we need to get to the research lab!" He said frantically, trying to find a way to lift the barricade.

"Are you crazy?! Going out there is suicide!" I said, grabbing his arm tightly.

"And you're crazy thinking that we are safe in here!" He said angrily with tears surfacing.

"At least it'll tire itself out." I stated, looking through some papers, wondering if we'll make it out alive.

"We're dead!" he says as a few powerful punches knock out some bolts from the door and onto the floor.

"Come on , there's a door on the other side of this wall." Ash said, tapping the wall lightly.

"How long has it been there?" he asked quietly, trying to sound like he can escape the demon by being silent as possible, but they all know that demons have a keen sence of hearing, so I don't see the point of being dilent if we're all dead in a few seconds.

"Since i've been working in the department, duh." Ash said, lightly tapping a small area and the wall opens to a small room, "now get in."

He quickly scurries inside as the demon bangs on the door once more, "if i don't make it... don't you dare take this room, got it." I said.

"Where are you going?" he asked franticly.

"I'm going to see if we have anymore survivors, OK?" I said, keeping her eye on the door as the demon crashes through the door and gives out a horrific sound, tapping the small area lightly, completely closing the door, not leaving any trace that there wasn't a door in the first place.

I flinched and ducked behind a desk, seeing as it makes a move to crush the desk, I quickly make my way through the door as he crashed.

As the demon chased me through the hall, I headed to the research lab and locked the door, hiding behind the coffin. I didn't notice that the coffin was glowing an eerie glow and giving a low whisper throughout the whole room, fearing the whispers I covered my ears and tried not to give into their tempting tone.

"Open it... come on, i know you want to peek inside... thye won't notice... just give in~" 

As my ears were clouded with the desire to know what's inside, I failed to notice that I unconsciously break the chains and the lifts the lid off the coffin, as soon as the lid fell onto the floor as the demon finally broke the door.

I snapped out of her trance-like state, I falls to the floor instantly, backing away from  the now open coffin as a man rises from he inside as if he just woke up from a blissful sleep.

"Oh... my... god." I said gasping lightly, as the demon slowly approached from behind me.
