Chapter 25

~Flashback~ 

I was trying to get past the firewall when my phone rang, ignoring all the arguing going on next door. 

I go to a quiet place and answer, "Hello?" 

I didn't understand why they were giving me the information, but if it'll help Ash get back at the higher-ups, I'll take what I can get, "I'll transfer the money by this afternoon. Yes, I understand." 

Rose came out, "who was that?" she asked. 

I shrugged, pocketing my phone, "no idea, but they gave me a lead though. What's going on? I've never heard Ash say such colorful words before." 

"you are such a bitch! wy didn't you say anything?!" Ash yelled through the walls. 

"I didn't think that you all could handle it!!" Lyn screamed back.You could hear, things breaking and shattering in the background, everything went quiet for a moment when a chair broke through the window, crashing onto a birdbath. 

Rose and I were luckily far from that window, "I don't think it's safe to be outside anymore." I said, looking at the destroyed birdbath. 

Rose nodded as I dragged her inside and far from the two dangerous women.

That chair scared me, I didn't think that they would be breaking stuff already. 

Shogun came out from the library, concerned, "What's with all the noise?" 

Rinko chuckled nervously and shook his head, "you don't want to go there." 

I nodded, "Shogun, you need to gather everyone in the living room, Rinko found out some information." 

He nodded as I dragged Rinko to the living room, "what do you think is going to go on? I mean with Ash and Shogun." 

Rinko gave me a confused look, "what do you mean? Ash looks pretty normal to me and Shogun, I really don't know the guy very well to say anything else." 

Rolling my eyes at his idiocy, I shook his shoulders gently, "Don't you notice that Ash is getting a little too... comfortable? with Shogun, I mean." 

"You mean the fact that she started to smile more and give out a warm vibe, every time Shogun is in the same room as her? or the fact that this morning she didn't yell at him to get out as she would to me? how about when she was dancing with Shogun, cause last time I checked Ash couldn't dance no matter what the circumstances are lead to? and a bunch of other things that I don't want to name, cause I already know that they both have feelings for each other," Rinko stated to me with a curious look, "yeah, I noticed."

I looked at like he was the stupidest person on the planet, "why didn't you say anything?!" 

He shrugged, "Don't know, I thought everyone knew about their feelings for each other?" 

I was going to strangle him, but Shogun came in carrying Ash over his shoulder with a calm look on his face, "hey guys." 

Ash just waved as she was still on being carried by Shogun, Lyn came in not a moment too late with a grim look on her face. 

"I see that everyone is making the most of it," Rinko said, opening up his laptop and started typing away. 

"What's going on?" Shogun asked, setting down Ash next to him as if she were to start another fight with Lyn. 

"Well, from what we know so far, Ash was studying at an institute with some pretty high IQ people right? So when they stuck her in the department she requested, at first they declined the offer right Ash?" Rinko asked, not looking up from his computer screen.
