Hell Rapture

Chapter 14

"Wow, this is a really nice place, how did you get it on such short notice," Rinko asked, looking around the mansion.

I shrugged, "While Ash and I were at Rose's place, she invited us to a street party and I met some people and we made a couple of favors they owe me. Therefore that's how I got this place on such short notice."

"That was very...persuasive of you," Ash said in a low voice.

"I know, it can't be helped that the prince of the underworld must have a favor at his hands in case of a dilemma, like this one for example." Watching as Ash admired the decor, she had that little twinkle in her eye when she sees something worth her attention.

"So where is the room going to be?" she asked, still looking everywhere.

"I'm guessing it's in the basement, assuming that this place does have a basement?" Rinko said when he looked through the living room door and closing it.

"Yup, this place has two basements so one of them can be a room and the other the real equipment room kept under secrecy." Leading them to a door against the staircase and unlocking it, "this is one of the many ways to get to the basement, I'll show you the others some other time."

"So this is a basement?" I asked, looking around and at Shogun who didn't seem fazed at all of the sizes.

"This is awesome! it's like a whole other ballroom here, except for the poles that are scattered everywhere? What kind of favor did you they owe you?" Rinko asked, inspecting the pole and the bars lining the walls.

He shrugged, "don' know, don't care, I'm guessing is that they may run something everyone may or may not know, like an underground strip club?"

I stared at him in shock, "Rinko don't you even dare touch that pole!"

Rinko almost gripped the pole 'til I told him not to touch it, especially since he is a horny boy most of the time.

"Awe~ You never let me have any fun anymore!" Rinko whined like 5-year-old.

"That's cause you can do better than that and you know it." Not bothering with the fact that Rinko doesn't know yet... and I made a promise to her.

This sucks, Ash won't let me have any fun anymore, well that's understandable in some cases. 

"Okay, start unpacking and setting up everything, we can't let them get away with this. Shogun, you see if anyone here knows what's going on and I'll check out the important places around the city and Rinko, you stay here and see what you can find." Ash commanded.

Shogun was gone in a flash and Ash was making her way outside to the garage, taking her sweet time.

I sighed and looked around, I was alone again, things haven't been the same since she disappeared.

Needless to say neither have I, doing things that I wish I could take back but can't since that's what I deserve.

If only I've done things differently back, then maybe she would still be here... with me.

I knew that the damage has been done and that there is nothing I can do now but to help Ash and Shogun, It's something that she would've wanted me to do.

I sighed and kept walking around the area that I was scouting, there was nothing on the government in the places that I went too.

I knew that I hit a dead end if I kept looking into the other buildings but I knew that someone has to know something, even if it's just a little information at the least.

Walking down the street, I couldn't help but feel like someone was following me from the last two buildings.

I shrugged it off and entered the small little shop on the corner and looked around, it was so adorable! There were candy and ice cream everywhere, it looked like Candyland threw up in here and let it be.

"Hello dear, is there something that I can help you with?" An elderly couple was standing behind a light pink counter and an old-timey cash machine, kind and gentle smiles on their faces. 

I smiled back, "yes, there are some questions that I need to ask you if you don't mind."

Even when I was facing the door I knew that the person following me was still watching and waiting for me.
