Chapter 43

The villa was as beautiful as any other mansion in Italy.

The grass was luscious as any other greenery valley. Blue trumpet gentians outline the mansion while Lilium martagon surrounded the cherry trees making the driveway, it was beautiful.

We exited the limo and stood in front of the large doors, they opened and a small woman came forward and bowed, "Welcome to the Coronado mansion, please right this way," and with that, she leads us to a hallway and towards dark wooden doors.

"Please enter," She bowed and left us.

We stepped forward and the door opened by themselves, the room was elegant there wasn't a piece of feminism in sight, everything was a dark but subdued in a kind of way.

There was an Italian man sitting in a black leather chair, the woman beside him is standing behind him with an innocent smile on her face.

"Don, its good to see you again," I said to him with a peasing smile on my face.

He chuckled and nodded, "yes it has been quite a long time, don't you think?"

I looked at him it has been some years since I've last seen him, he's still the same dark-haired Italian man with grey eyes.

"So I see that your wife is with you as well, Carmen it's so wonderful to see you," He said, opening his arms for a hug, which she gave him.

"Don, it's great to see you," Carmen said with a smile on her face.

"And this must be little Bella!" He said, looking at isabella with an ecstatic expression, "My, my look how you have grown!"

Isabella giggled and nodded, "Its good to see you grandpa-don, my you haven't aged a bit since I was like what? 7-years-old."

"Yes its been quite some time," He looked behind her and saw Raven and RInko, "And who might these people be?"

I stood next to them and smiled, "Don, these are our new friends, Let me introduce Raven Knight and Rinko Knight, Hanno l'onore di possedre il nome della famiglia," I said the last part quietly so that only he could hear.

He nodded and shook their hands, "Hello, my name is Duilio and the lovely women sitting in my chair is amore mio, Katherine come and meet our new friends."

She got up from the chair and walked towards us, her steps barely made a sound to the untrained senses, her Mid-night blue eyes looked mischievous yet comforting, her raven-black hair, long and beautiful down to her wait where it ended.

"Hello," she said kindly, "It's nice to finally meet you all," keeping an eye on Raven and Rinko especially.

Raven smiled and nodded, "Likewise Dona."

Katherine giggled, "please call me Katherine."

I looked at her as she chatted with Raven, If I'd known that she was the Dona of the family I wouldn't have presented my problems to her.

"Amore Mio, why don't you and these ladies chat in the gardens, while the men and I have a little chat of our own," Don said, Katherine, giggled and nodded.

Katherine nodded and lead us outside the mansion.

"Now tell me," She said sitting in the gazebo, "Come on sit, sit I don't want to be an ungraceful host."

We sat in the comfy chairs as maids served us tea and little snacks for us to eat.

"How did you girls meet this little Raven?" She asked, looking at Raven with curious eyes.

Carmen smiled and told her that something has happened and Raven needed help from us.

I took a sip of my tea and looked out into the pound that was next to the gazebo, the water was a beautiful kind of blue and crystal clear, there were little lily pads here and there, a few swans.

"So Isabella, tell me hows life treating you," Katherine asked, eating a mini cupcake.

"Oh! umm Life has been great but I can't seem to find the person to enjoy it with though," I said sadly, I mean everyone has someone to enjoy life with I can't seem to find that person.

Katherine gave me a sympathetic smile, "Don't worry, you'll find the person to enjoy life with, you just have to be a little patient."

I nodded and looked at her with a small smile.

"Well if there is anything that I've learned in my life is that sometimes it's ok to wait but you can't do it forever," and with that, we talked about something else.

I hummed slightly, "I see." I muttered under my breath.

This is not good, not only that the Institution is after something so precious they took my granddaughter and her friends. If there is something Amore Mio doesn't like is that someone messed with our family, no matter who it is.

"And how do you propose we proceed with this?" I asked Paris for any ideas.

Paris sighed and shook his head, "Honestly, I have no idea, they were taken when everyone was asleep, only Raven and Rinko were left behind."

"Might I suggest an idea?" Rinko asked.

"Alright, what do you have in mind," I asked him as I poured myself a drink and offered them some.

"Well, Ash is being hunted down by the higher-ups I've been doing a little digging when we were finalizing a plan for the end game and I came across some files that kinda explain everything that has been going on behind all the firewalls that I've been slowly cracking down," Rinko stated, pulling out some files and setting them on the desk, "and apparently Ash has a little secret, I don't know what she's hiding or if she is even aware of what she is," He said, typing away on his phone.

I nodded and looked at the file, it has everything that he said is true, mostly cause I know what she is. I sighed and looked at the current picture of Ash, she's so beautiful, She has the Knight's eyes. As expected from the women from the Knight family

"Alright," closing the file and giving them the Coronado grin, "Where do we start."
