Chapter 38

I looked at Raven and then back at Shogun, "you're not serious, right?" Raven said nervously.

He shook his head and smiled, "Nope, this person, even though I've known her for about the time she came here, she's shown that she can devise a plan right on the spot with the people she works with." He said praising her.

I just looked at him and then back at Raven, even though we both haven't known each other for very long, I have a feeling that she has more to herself then she leads on.

"Alright, as long as she doesn't touch my babies, "I said protectively.

Raven and Shogun nodded, leaving her with me.

I just stood there and looked around the room avoiding Rinko's gaze on me.

"Sooo~," He dragged on, leaning against his swivel chair.

"Soooo~," I said back, ricking on my heels, wanting to do something

Rinko coughed and just looked lost, not knowing what to do until... he made a fart noise.

I giggled lightly as I looked at him and he looked pleased with the reaction he got.

"Alright, now that we got the elephant out of the room, do you want to discuss the priorities of the plan?" Rinko said, giving me a lopsided smile.

I nodded and sat on another swivel chair, "so, what do you have so far?"

I smirked as I watched the two love birds talk strategy.

I quickly and quietly made my way out of the basement and towards the library.

"Who the Fucking hell are you?" A cold voice said.

I smiled mischievously and looked around the room, not finding the source, "Well, My name is Isabella, it's nice to meet you," I said, bowing a little.

The voice scoffed, "Excuse me if I don't have the same pleasure."

I smiled slightly, she is so much like My brother, I understand now why they have to leave her to their hands. "Well, I do suppose that we all don't have the same feelings am I right miss?" I said giving the voice a cool smile.

A couple of shelves down a woman stepped out and I almost gasped loudly but held it in. She has long curly black hair and midnight blue eyes, fair skin and a good figure... she was the exact replica of my sister.

"I can tell that you are older then you look," she stated.

I giggled lightly and nodded, "yes I'm in my early 20's and you are?"

She looked at me and then my eyes, I was used to the way people looked at my red eyes.

"Ash, Ash Knight. It's nice to meet you," she said holding out her hand.

I smiled kindly and shook her hand with a firm grip, I can tell from the corner of her lips twitched, that she was liking me already.

"So, how long have you been here?" Ash asked., crossing her arms over her chest as she leaned against a nearby bookshelf.

I shrugged and looked around, "I just got here this morning."

Ash arched a bow and looked at the clock, it was nearly night, she sighed and looked back at me, "well, sorry that we didn't have enough time to spend with each other." She said sadly.

I nodded and looked at her intensely when she wasn't looking, if she wasn't related to me, I would've tortured her for the info I needed, but then again, I was here to look after her, "Yeah, maybe tomorrow if we don't have anything to do." I suggested.

I turned and walked away leaving Isabella alone in the library, she seems familiar but I don't know where.

"I see that you've met our newest member," Shogun said, appearing beside me with a small smile on his face.

I nodded and continued to walk towards my room, not breaking a stride, "yes, she seems nice."

"Nice?" Shogun said astonished.

"Yes, nice. Something wing with that?" I said looking at him from the corner of my eye, watching him as he had his thinking face on, making me giggle a little.

"What's so funny?" He asked, curiously.

I shook my head, "nothing," wanting to keep this moment to myself.

"Are we going to welcome her with open arms?" Shogun asked, putting his arms behind him, giving off a relaxed vibe.

He's right about that, I mean we are very close to ending this whole mess but dragging her with us and she seems so nice too, I don't want her to get hurt whatsoever, "we are going to welcome her to our little family but she can't participate in what we are doing understand." I said sternly.

He nodded and looked out the window with a sad smile.

"What are you thinking about?" I asked, concerned that the fact the night, which I know that he loved, made him sad.

"Nothing important," He said flashing me a quick smile before he turned a corner, "Good night, Ash." and with that he let the darkness swallow him whole.

I just stood there, looking at the same spot where he once was.

"Well, that was creepy." A voice behind me.

I jumped slightly and looked behind me before letting out a breath of relief, "Shit, Raven, you scared me." I said, looking at the giggling mess on the floor.

"I know, that was the point," she said in between giggles.

I rolled my eyes and left her there, she caught up and walked with me, "So, seen the new girl around?" She asked, giving off a smile of mischief.

"Yes and you're not allowed to mess with her," I said sternly.

Raven frowned and crossed her arms like a child, "but that's no fun, Rose is already smart enough to ignore me and you know how I hate being ignored by people."

I nodded and stopped in front of my room, "I know but this girl is special."

Raven looked confused, "and how do you know that?" she asks, watching me open my door as I was about to go in.

I shrugged and gave her a wicked smile, "I just do." and with that, I closed the door.

I huffed at the door and then walked to my room, not before I hear a humming sound.

"Hello." A light voice said.

I turned back around and smiled, "hello there," I said back.

The girl has long white hair and bright red eyes, she could almost pass as a demon.

"My name is Isabella, nice to meetcha!" She said excitedly, holding out her hand for me to shake.

Shaking her hand, I got a bit closer to take note of what else I need to know about her, So far she's innocent as they come, "My name is Raven, it's nice to meet you." I said politely.

Isabella, gave me a wicked smile, "want to be friends?"

I mirrored her wicked smile of my own, "I would love to be friends with you... Isabella."
