I didn't expect that to happen, Shogun should've stayed with the others, not wandering around.

"How the hell did he get there?" Rinko asked.

"I don't know, it seems that he just walked by us and bought a nice suit," Lyn said, clapping to herself.

"I don't care if he had to stuff someone into a box, I want him out of here!" I hissed, smiling apologetically to the other guests.

"Welcome everyone! This is the moment you've all been waiting for... the big Auction!" James said, excitedly.

Everyone was clapping in anticipation, Shogun was grinning, standing next to James as he made the announcement.

"Now ladies and gentlemen, let the auction, begin!" James said, smiling brightly.

"What's this auction about?" Lyn asked.

"I don't know but it seems kind of extravagant, don't you think?" I whispered.

James pulled out a card and smiled, "Well ladies, Tonight is your lucky night, because we have a very suitable choice for you. Please welcome our first candidate of the night... Shogun Hitori!"

Shogun walked a little way up front and waved at the crowd.

"Alright, let's start the bidding at Five-Thousand Dollars? Do I hear Five-Thousand?" James started the bidding and all the single ladies, yelled out, some even started raising the stakes a bit.

I sighed and looked around, they all seemed distracted, "Alright guys, It's your move now, make it count." Putting a smile on my face and looking at the person arranging the bidding, "Excuse me, sir?"

The dark-haired man turned towards me, "yes? can I help you?"

I gave him a flirtatious smile, "I see that you are the one arranging the bidding, mind if I make a little change on there?"

He looked uncertain and nodded, handing me the clipboard, "Not at all."

I smirked slightly, but smiled, "Thanks, Don't worry this will blow your boss away." Making a few changes here and there, and finally signing my name in place.

"What do you guys think Ash is doing?" I asked, trying my short auburn-hair into a bun.

Lyn shrugged her shoulders as she gave up a pack, "I'm not sure, but I'm guessing that It has to do with the auction."

"That or she has something up her sleeve," Rinko said, putting on a belt with small pouches.

I sighed slightly as I put on my boots, not thinking that I would be seeing another side to someone I thought i knew. Ash was like a sister to me and finding out that she has something to hide is nerve-wracking.

"Rose are you alright?" Lyn asked, concerned.

I nodded, putting on a fake smile, "Yeah I'm fine. Let's do this thing!" Putting on a positive attitude.

Rinko smiled, "That's our girl, Now all we have to do is,"

~'~

"What is Ash doing?" I muttered lightly. Watching her as she made her way to a dark-haired man and started flirting with him.

"I see that someone doesn't like what he sees~," James said, still continuing the auction.

I frowned, still watching the two talk as he handed her the clipboard with a small smile. Ash took the clipboard and smiled at him, writing something on it and giving it back to him.

Walking away, I didn't want to get Ash involved with Starr but she left me no choice, I asked Lyn if I could borrow a suit. With my connections with some powerful people, I made the auction.

It pissed off Ash pretty badly when she saw me on stage with Starr, the look on her face was priceless.

"I can tell that someone has a little crush on someone with beautiful eyes," James said, handing me a glass of vodka.

"You have no idea," Still looking at Ash as she waited next to the bar.

James smiled, "well, I have more people to please, enjoy the date with the girl I suppose, " James said, getting back on stage, "and now for the final person to be on stage is... Ash Knight!"

I almost choked on my vodka. Ash walked on that stage with an innocent smile, standing next to James and facing the crowd.

"Well, well, well... look at what we have here a beautiful woman, might I add," James said, pulling Ash close to him.

I nearly broke my glass at the way he held her so close to him, Ash looked like she wasn't liking it either.

"So let's start the bidding at...," looking at Ash with lust, "Six-thousand dollars! Anyone?" and the bidding war for Ash Knight started.

~'~

"Is it bad that we hacked into the security system and watched this instead of hacking into the Starr files?" Lyn asked, chewing on some candy, enjoying the bidding war.

I shook my head and grabbed some popcorn, "I don't think so, I mean, we did pay the guy to let Ash make a few changes."

Rinko shook his head and just typed on his laptop, "Yeah, besides we want to know if he would make a move on her or lose her to one of these wealthy men," he said.
