Chapter 11

As we got off the private jet, we landed in Nice, France. A place where I knew my old friend would be at most of the time in France instead of anywhere else.

"Where are we?" Asked Shogun he climbed down the stairs.

I smirked, "We are in Nice, France the fifth most populous city in France and the capital of the Alpes-Maritimes department. Located in the Franch Riviera, on the south-east coast of France on the Mediterranean sea, at the foot of the Alpes."

Shogun looked confused and gave me a stupid look, "English woman."

I huffed and crossed my arms, "this is where my friend lives." rolling my eyes slightly.

"Well, why didn't you say so?" he said with a smile on his face, while I frowned at his knowledge of the Human world. 

"Come on, I'm pretty sure I know where to find him." pulling him to a 1930's French car with a fresh coat of red paint, it was big enough to fit two people.

"What is that?" he asked pointing at the car with curiousness and nervousness.

I sighed, "This is a 1930's French car, don't worry we remodified it to run smoothly like it did in its prime time, if that's what you're concerned about."

He sighed slightly and got into the car, "wow very nice, it reminds me of home." he said running his hand over the white leather interior.

"So where are we going this time?" I asked looking out the window as we passed my nature.

"We are going to pub in the downtown district near the waters, that is where we can find him." Ash said driving through the city streets and stopping in front of a building, "This is where he lives. We'll unpack and go to the pub afterwards."

I nodded, "okay." looking at the building, it was tall and had a stonewalling with a red door and two windows in the from with small flower pots on the windowsill.

"so where is my room?" I asked standing at the base of the stairs.

Ash turned and pointed at the floor above us, "there are three rooms in the building, well four if you count the basement as a room. He has plenty of space for those who pass by from time to time."

Climbing up the stairs and closing the first door which was coloured a dark red one and entered. The room was spacious and clean like it hasn't been used in months yet years. The bed was a king size and the dresser was a dark oak, the window was facing to the busy streets below us and the closet was big enough to fit my clothes, the bathroom was small yet efficient for me. I placed everything to where it should belong and waited for Ash downstairs so we can go to the pub. 

"Come on Ash I want to come back and pass out for the night." I shouted sitting lazily on the couch, "I need to workout I didn't feel like this lazy back in the underworld as much as now."

"I'm coming! Don't rush me!" I shouted as I straightened my black silk skirt and small white crop top, with black knee high heeled boots.

"Stupid pub with its stupid dress code shit." mumbling under my breath as I climbed down the stairs making sure my small handgun didn't slip from under my skirt.

"Come on let's go." opening the door and waiting for him to go out the door first so I could lock it.

I groaned, "Come on we need to go-" I saw him holding his nose and turning away quickly and mumbled something under his breath, "hey are you OK?" I asked, making my way to the couch and kneeled down in front of him. 

He mumbled lowly, "yeah I'm fine, just give me a second." He then got up and went to the restroom that was down the hall and locked the door.

I followed him and knocked the door lightly, "Shogun? are you alright?" I asked trying to open the door.

I tried to stop the blood flow from staining the black dress shirt I was wearing. 

"Shogun? are you alright?" Ash said trying to open the door.

"Y-yeah just give me a second." I stuttered lightly and groaned.

This night will certainly kill me for sure.
