Arrith waited patiently on the red cliff. She was sitting down, wishing for the best. She hoped that he would come and give her good news.
She almost considered praying, but God had lost all hope for her ever since she became a demon.
In case you're wondering, yes, Arrith was a good person as a human. But it all changed when she died.
Ophiel and Arrith were good sisters. They were generally good people, they gave to charity, did good deeds and helped elders. But one day, they got into a car accident. They were both granted access into heaven for being sin free and for being good people. They became angels.
Ophiel was satisfied, but Arrith wanted more. The sin of gluttony slowly took over her. When she learned that she could gain even more power from being a demon, she didn't hesitate.
Arrith became a fallen angel, a demon.
Ever since that day, her greed took over her. She learned how to get what she wanted and nothing would stop her.
Lexa was no exception. If she wanted Lexa's rosary destroyed, it would be destroyed. If she wanted Lexa gone, Lexa would be gone.
Thud. Thud. Thud. Thud.
Arrith lifted her head. She saw the gargoyle who was walking proudly towards her.
Arrith stood up incredibly fast and ran up to the gargoyle. "Tell me! Is it gone!? Did you break it!?" Asked Arrith in a panicked tone.
"Yes, I destroyed it," replied the gargoyle.
"Oh, that's great. Maybe if you didn't spread rumours about me then maybe I would've spared you," said Arrith.
"Yes- Wait, what? I know I spread rumours but I destroyed the rosary for you! We're even!"
"Tough luck, this is Hell, we don't exactly have any rules here." Arrith pushed the gargoyle off the cliff and watched as his stone body smashed to tiny pieces.
Arrith had now regained a lot of power, she wanted to make a portal and go to Earth.
Arrith lifted up her hands and aimed them at a wall of rock. She focused. And then... The portal was created. The brightness of it made Arrith squint a bit.
"After all this waiting..."
The demon walked forward and stepped through the portal.
It had worked. She was... On Earth. All of her hard work had finally paid off.
She looked around her, she was in a forest. She knew where she was, Arrith would find Lexa's house in no time at all.
The demon floated up and flew slowly through the green forest. She didn't have to rush, after all she literally had an eternity.
She decided to scare a couple of squirrels that were hiding in the trees. She also decided to freak out a couple of birds too along the way. They all flew away almost instantly, chirping in fear as they did so.
Arrith saw a road, it was the end of the forest. She quickly made herself invisible so that she would be unseen by the humans.
Arrith knew the way to Lexa's house very well by now. She found Lexa in almost no time at all.
As usual, Lexa was hanging out with Azura in her house. Mango was sleeping, Lexa's mom was at work and Leon was playing Fortnite. Everybody seemed to be satisfied, except for of course, Arrith.
Arrith watched Lexa and Azura giggling and chatting through the window. She had to get Lexa away from Azura, she had to be alone for her plan to work. She had already lost the rosary, and without a friend to help, what could Lexa even do?
