COLBY'S POV
I woke up to sams heart machine. it was slow but I assumed it was because he was sleeping. I closed my eyes again and started to drift off to the rhythm of sams heartbeat being displayed through the machine. I was almost asleep when that rhythm stopped. the machine made a constant beep that never ended. I bolted out the room and yelled for a doctor.
they instantly came in and started CPR. I shook y/n but she didn't wake up. she had tears rolling down from her eyes. I left her alone and helped the doctors give sam CPR but then couldn't refill his collapsed lung. i picked y/n up from his side and placed her down on the bed i was in. the doctor took Sam out of the room and all i could do right now was pray to god that he would take care of my best friend. i got on my knees and put my head in my hands and sobbed i even started screaming.
Y/ns POV
i shot up to the sound of a scream... it was Colby he was crying and Sam was gone
"Colby where is Sammy bear why am i not laying with my Sammy bear anymore" my mind had already gone to the worst possibility.
"im so sorry i tried my best to wake you up to say goodbye but you wouldn't wake up"
"whats going on"I dont know why but i had a bad feeling and seeing Colby cry made me cry. colby was strong so something had to be very wrong for him to be crying so much.
"im so sorry i tried to help but i couldn't we couldn't y/n he's gone"I was now sobbing and my vision was blurred by the tears.
"HES WHAT?!?!" i ran over to Colby and embraced him in a bear hug
"HE DEAD HE'S GONE FOREVER" Colby yell whispered we sobbed into each other's arms holding each other closer and tighter than ever as we sat in the middle of a hospital room where Samual John golbach are best friend died in my arms
