Natalia's POV
me and Cassidy walk into the ice cream shop with Colby by our side. yes, I was scared... very scared actually.
"hello, darlings! im Erin and this is my husband Mike!" the lady with dirty blond hair and blue eyes held her hand out towards me with a soft smile.
i take her hand and gently shake it, Cas (thats what im calling Cassidy now) does the same.
"im Natalia and this is Cassidy my little sister" she looks at the both of us and her smile grows wider.
"here come, why don't we get you guys some ice cream before we talk" me and cas smile and run to the counter letting go of Colby on the way. we both get some mint chocolate chip ice cream and rainbow sprinkles and then sit down at the table with erin and mike.
"yummy" mike says gesturing towards the ice cream. i nod my head and continue to shovel it into my mouth.
Colbys POV
the girls sit on either side of me with erin and mike on the other side of the booth.
"now lets get to know you guys." i say smiling at the two
"what is it you would like to know," Mike asks
"basic things, what you house environment is like, how you will take care of my girls, your background history, any criminal records, and oh i need you guys to help me with a surprise too if we choice you guys as the adoptive parent."
"okay, so umm we live in the suburbs in a 2 level house 4 bedrooms so the girls can have their own rooms. we live 2 blocks from a school ranked 14th in the state." erin says with confidence clearly proud of how they live. i nod happily
"we have no criminal background and really no background information that really important to know of. and for how we will take care of them, well they can do whatever as long as they dont break the ground rules" mike butts in
"okay thats good, can i speak to you guys outside for a second. girls stay put and finish up your ice cream" we walk outside and i ask the basic stuff.
"the girls have nothing, they're not actually mine... im sure you've heard the story. so you would need to take them clothes shopping and get then basic things they need like toothbrushed, hairbrushes and stuff like that. but also to help the girls i want to buy them each a kitten and a puppy... could you handle that?"
"oh yes we would be fine with that, and awww thats so sweet we can totally take care of the two animals"
"okay cool, looks like you just got yourselves a deal then" we walk back in and arrange things. tomorrow erin and mike will pick the girls up and take them shopping and bring them to there house to set everything up. while they do that ill go get the puppy and kitten. and surprise the girls at there house. finally, the girls will come home with me and spend the last night with me before they go off to their new home.
