Love and War

a restart, a new begining

-on the phone- 

"What do you want" he said snarling right after

"C-Colby I-I just found t-two girls in the woods t-tied up" I was choking on air as I tried to talk without stuttering 

"what are you ok are they ok" he screamed from the other end of the phone 

"im fine they are fine but I need you now more than ever im scared Colby and I have no idea what to do" 

"I'm coming over stay put and I want an explanation when I get there" 

"ok I love you Colby drive safe" 

--time skip to when Colby is here--                                             

"y/n" Colby screamed slamming the front door behind him rushing around to find me. I came out of the room with the girls and jumped on Colby catching him by surprise. he put me down and let out a loud sigh. 

"I'm glad your ok" he whispered in my ear pulling me into a tight bear hug. 

"me too" he smiled and loosened his hug but didn't let go. I forced myself out of his grip and dragged him into the guest room with the girls. 

"Colby this is Natalia and Cassidy" he waved and introduced himself to them it was a little weird since he was older than them and he was a boy. 

"How did you find them," Colby asked sitting on the opposite side of the bed as the girls. 

"After our whole fight, I went on a walk in the woods. I came to a cabin and looked in. these girls were tied up and there was a guy with a gun talking to them. One of them got my attention but the guy turned and saw me I ran and hid behind a tree. He came out and left in his car going deeper into the woods to find me. I went back and got Natalia to break her chair and free herself and Cassidy. They unlocked the door and we ran to my car. we were almost their till the guy was shooting the gun at us driving closer by the second. I made it to my car and sped off, with him still chasing us. we got a picture of his car and then got to the closest police station." 

"Wow," he was surprised but also worried 

"im just happy your ok" He walked over to me and gave me another hug

"why were you fighting," Cassidy asked instantly changing my mood. with all this going on I forgot about Sam. my vision became blurred as tears threatened to spill from my eyes. 

"im so sorry I didn't mean to upset you" Cassidy gave me a hug wiping my tears away from me 

"whats wrong," she asked 

"w-w-well jus-st earl-lier today m-my best friend s-sam k-killed himself-f." I was full on crying now with Natalia and Cassidy hugging me and Colby crying too. when I calmed down the girls went and hugged Colby till he calmed down. 

"im so sorry," Natalia said as they both let go of Colby sitting back down on the bed. 

"girls me and Colby are gonna go talk you can go help my mom in the kitchen or stay and play" the girls ran to the kitchen to help as I dragged Colby to the ruff of the house. we sat on the ledge and sat in silence. colby looked down at the cars driving by and was silent deep in his thoughts. until I broke the awkward silence lingering in the air

"im so sorry I never meant to hurt him or you," I said looking at him but he was silent and just watched the cars

"I wish I could bring him back... I loved him. he was a brother to me a better brother than my actual brother ever was. I miss him too but I didn't mean to do this. I know you blame me for this" a thought rushed through my head as soon as I finished talking
