Two year later…

The bed dipped slight making me moan. I slowly opened my eyes to blink up at the one who woke me. Slade was smiling down at me. I narrowed my eyes at him but it made no difference. Fury was lying behind me to support my body.

“I made you some breakfast.”

“Couldn't you have waited for an hour or two before doing that?” I muttered.

“You told me to make you breakfast!”

“No I didn't!”

“Yes you did. Ask Fury.”

“You leave me out of this,” he muttered from behind me.

His hand moved from my hip to settled over my stomach. I could feel his warm breath fanning my ear. With another groan I struggled up. The brothers helped me to lean back against the headboard. Slade held out the plate with bacon and scrambled eggs. As if on que, my stomach grumbled.

“Thank you.” I placed the plate on my stomach before grabbing a piece of bacon.

Two years had passed since that horrid day when I was kidnapped. I learned later on that she had me kept locked up for two weeks. Our planned failed because they couldn't catch her. She disappeared without a trace. The twins were pissed when I told them about the plan I made with Erik. They were pissed at him for going through with it without telling them. Everyone that was involved in the kidnapping were killed, including their mother. At first I felt guilty for taking her away from them, but they later told me that they never thought of her as their mother. They hated her.

We talked for hours after spending the day in bed. I learned about their mother while they learned about mine. I admitted to them that I knew it was her after that day Roxanne went into my mind. I was trained by Fury. He taught me how to control myself around humans. How I could lesson the sounds around me to only focused on what I wanted to hear. He taught me everything. Once I was in full control we finally entered civilization again.

We didn't buy a new house but decided to buy a penthouse instead. I worked as a secretary for both of them at their father's company. That was until the big shock. It happened unexpectedly. Totally unplanned.

I was pregnant.

After the big discovery we decided it would be best to live at the castle. Their father wasn't very happy about the news. Even though Fury had changed me, he still didn't accept me. So he handed over the kingdom to the twins before disappearing. We haven't heard a word from him since then. The twins we formally crowned as King's and me as their Queen a week after arriving. The celebration was small with extra security.

I could honestly say that I was happy. There were still times when some things overwhelmed me– especially the pregnancy hormones– but I managed to get through it. The twins were by my side evey step of the way. They were my life now. The one I would keep until eternity.

I ran a hand down my face with a groan. One thing I hated about being king was the paper work that came with the title. There were times when I would regret ever agreeing to it. Then there were times when I was glad that we did. After my mother was caught, we discovered why she didn't want Lexi or us to take over. She was involved in some shady things which would've led to our downfall. My mother was never a mother. She was a bitch. Her beast had forced control centuries ago. It ruled her. Made her the person everybody hated. It surprised us when we found out who was killing our mate. A part of us still acknowledged her as out mother, but it died along with her. As for my father, he would never be the same man we knew.
