Parents....a seven letter word involving two people raising other people. How interesting if you look at things like. We're just raising other people and other people. Along with the frequent question "how does it feel to be a parent?".
Let's stop right there....should we start asking ourselves what's the true definition of a parent? Parents with well-behaved disciplined kids? Parents with home-wrecked kids? Parents with mentally and physically abuse kids? Parents with overachiever kids? Because it ain't any of them. Our parents impact on us greatly defining us as human being.
It's not about our grades, GPA, college, our future, it's about our parents. If they treat us like shit and shut us out from their lives like mine has, so be it. Cause your gonna be the stronger person in life. You raised yourself, you taught yourself, you got through things yourself.
You don't need a parent to teach you the ropes in life. You just need yourself and people who will stay by your side through the end. Our parents don't know the stuff that's going on in our lives they don't know all the bad deeds we're doing or the good. The world is changing, generations are changing the world, our society. Our parents can't stop that. Their generation is dying out ours is beginning and rising.
Soon our generation will die out and the new one will rise and so on. You can keep on telling me that my parents knows best but do they even know me. For once do they even thought to themselves and asked if they know anything about their own child. Not about their grades! Or what they wanna do with their life!
