A week later, Chiron banged his hoof on the dining hall floor, symbolizing he had an announcement. All of the conversations quickly stopped.

"Campers and staff, Tyche has delivered a message to me. She is missing her cornucopia. She insists that a quest must be given," he turned to look at Kaytrin, "and her daughter must be one of the three on the quest."

The dining hall erupted in noise and panic. If the goddess of luck is missing her most prized possession, that means that everyone's luck may go haywire.

"Campers, silence! You will choose two people, Kaytrin, and leave in two days. Good luck. Everyone else, you should start your morning activities."

Kaytrin quickly got out of her seat at the Tyche table, and ran to her cabin. She flung open the door, and flopped onto her bed.

"Big quest you got," a voice said.

Kaytrin rolled over to glare at the person who just spoke.

It was London. Kaytrin immediately regretted giving London back his good luck yesterday, when he had took on everyone at camp's kitchen duty job for the week. It was nice of him to do it, but she knew he just really wanted to stop tripping and making a fool of himself everywhere he went.

"What do you want?"

"I want to help you on your quest. And I want to thank you for giving me back my luck."

"No, you want to make sure that I will not take away your good luck for awhile."

"I— that is partly true. Sorry." London turned to leave.

"No! Please, stay and sit for a little bit. I need some company right now." Kaytrin looked away and blushed a little. Even his company was better than being all alone to herself. She got depressed really easily, and never admitted it, but she need almost constant company to stay happy.

"Okay...." London sat down on a plump purple beanbag. He looked around the room. "Very clean and colorful in here," he observed.

"Simple, yet playful. A little bit unsettlingly clean. Just my style." Kaytrin said.

"Oh?" He arched his eyebrow. "Tell me more about yourself."

"Well, the day before I arrived here, at Camp Halfblood, I heard a little voice in my head telling to leave my parent's house and to follow it's instructions. So I did, and that is how I got here. I suspect that it was Tyche, leading me here. What about you? How did you get to Camp Halfblood?" Kaytrin asked London.
