I was combing my hair when Daddy suddenly popped out of nowhere. I smiled at his presence and he just snorted at me. My Dad is kind of weird. He kissed me on the cheeks before murmuring something.

"What, Daddy?" I asked.

"L, is waiting for you outside, hija." I smiled on the thought.

It's been a week when we get to go along with what was life want us to do, Everyday I'm with L he makes me experience things that I can't experience with the age of 13. He even surprised me on my birthday, he brought me to a museum that made my heart fluttered. He was sweet when you get to know him.

"It seems like you are fond of L, hija" anas ng aking ama. "But I want you to know your limitations hija, bata ka pa, L is more way older than you and he's mature enough to know things and as far as I know L is a womanizer—"

"Daddy!" I screamed to cut him off. "Ano bang pinagsasabi mo? You telling me things that might ruin my perspective to L is a no good! Daddy, he's your friend, we're hanging out because we have the same taste in everything why do you have to tell me about my limitations and what kind of man L is!" I bummed him, and Daddy just laughed at me.

"I'm just giving you a warning note, my dear daughter, once you fall in love there is no turning point to it. So you must watch were your heart would fell." Natatawang saad ng aking ama. "Masyado ka atang defensive hija?" Daddy Laughed that I almost throw the base near me. "Osya, tama na ang paganda at bumaba ka, hinihintay ka na ni L"

Ngumuso lang ako hanggang sa makalabas na si Daddy sa aking kwarto. What's wrong with Daddy by the way? He even told me things that I don't want to know. Tsk. Is daddy want to destroy my mood today? Tsk.

Nakasimangot ako ng maka baba na ako, L is waiting patiently at me and when he saw me the smile he was wearing fades and falter with a grim aura. I smiled at him forcefully habang si Daddy naman ay nakakalokong nginingitian ako. I glared at Dad and he just shrugged my deathly glares.

"What's wrong with you face, today Carmentis?" L asked, shoving the stares I'm giving to my father. I faced him and snorted. "Nothing" I answered briefly.

L bid his goodbye to daddy and I was going to say goodbye to daddy also when he teases me again. I smacked his arm and rolled my eyes.

"Ingat sweetheart, enjoy the day" he blurted. Hindi ko na siya pinansin at mabilis na pumasok sa kotse ni L.

When we were far from the house, L asked what happened to me a while ago.

"Dad, was teasing me. He's acting weird today." I blurted "He even said that I should protect my heart from you all because you are matured enough for me and you are even a womanizer!" I said in distaste.

"What the hell?" He blurted also, I took a sideway glance at him and fond him frowning. "You're father went insane again." He jested.

"Yeah, and there's no need for me to know that kind of stuffs.." I said with an unusual tone.

Hindi na niya ako sinagot pa at nagfocus nalang sa pagdadrive. He was cool this day, napangiti nalang ako ng matantong pupunnta ulit kami sa dagat. He really loves the scene there aren't he?

"We're heading to the beach!" I said happily as I flustered a smile towards him. He just nod and answered. "Because you seem to like it"

"No! I love it!" I said and laughed.
