I had my notebook propped against my knees as my pen flew across the paper. It seemed I had a lot more time to write now, and a lot more to write about. I'd felt inspired lately. Right now I was working on a story for Hope. She told me one of her favorite things is when her mom can stay the nights with her, and she'll read her to sleep.

I looked up from my notebook when I heard the click of the bathroom door opening and set it aside. Clouds of steam followed Axel into the room. His jeans hung low on his hips and his chest was exposed. He was running a towel through his wet hair; I swear my heart stopped for a few seconds at the sight.

My boyfriend is hot.

I watched him make his way to the other side of the room, drape the towel over a chair, and reach for a shirt from his duffel bag. It's almost been two weeks since I'd been a temporary resident of Hope Mercy Hospital, and Axel hadn't left my side once.

He got his mom to bring him some clothes and other necessary things. I was surprised no one has said anything to him about staying here with me, but I guess they didn't want to make my life any harder than it already was- plus Axel would probably tell whoever would dare say he needed to leave to shove it.

Axel pulled the black T-shirt over his head, and I pouted.

Leave it off.

I let out a sigh. Axel was smirking before he even made eye contact with me; he must have felt me staring at him, though. His smirk grew with amusement when he saw my expression.

"If you want me to take my clothes off, all you have to do is say so, Angel Eyes."

"Okay. Take your shirt off." I beamed, only half joking.

"As you wish." He chuckled, shaking his head and pulled the T-shirt off, chucking it to over to his bag. "I'm not one hundred percent sure that it was clean anyway."

He crawled into bed next to me; I nuzzled myself against his arm and sighed again.

"You know you can't stay here forever, right? At some point you have to go home. I'm sure your mom and Riley miss you."

"I know, but I let you go once. I don't plan on doing that a second time."

He wrapped his arms around me and placed a gentle kiss to my neck. He could be so romantic sometimes.

I turned around, so I could face him and pressed my lips against his. He hummed against my lips, pulling me closer against his chest. I ran my hands through his still wet hair which elicited more sounds of pleasure from him. In the matter of seconds I was on my back with Axel hovering over me, leaving a trail of kisses down my jaw and neck.

My monitor started to beep like crazy. I could feel Axel's lips curl into a smirk against my cheek, and I groaned in annoyance.

"I hate that thing." I scowled at where it stood next to my bed.

"I love it," He snickered.

"Well if you love it so much, you should marry it." I teased, rolling my eyes.

"Can't," Axel said, still hovering over me. "I'm already in a very committed relationship with an extraordinary girl."

"Really? I'll have to meet her sometime."

"I think you would like her. She's infuriatingly stubborn, but she's also witty, compassionate, incredibly beautiful." He smiled warmly down at me.

"She sounds pretty great."

"The greatest."

"Well it so happens that I'm in a very committed relationship, too." I continued our flirty teasing.
