"You look beautiful." I stared at Danny in awe.
Her hair was in a messy, curly bun, her makeup and nails were done expertly, and it was like her dress was made specifically for her. The sleeves draped off her shoulders, and it cinched in to show off her tiny waist, flaring out from that point. It was simple, but it was definitely Danny's style. She was the prettiest bride I'd ever seen.
"I feel beautiful." She said, meeting my reflection in the floor-length mirror.
You could tell she meant what she said; she was smiling widely at herself in the mirror. She looked radiant- her whole face was glowing. She looked so excited to marry Tyler.
"You're not even a little bit nervous to marry him, are you?" I asked, already knowing the answer.
She shook her head. She turned to face me. "Not at all. Some women say they get nervous right before, but I just know he's the one I'm meant to be with. I can feel it in my heart and soul."
Happy tears started to shine in her eyes, but I started to quickly fan her face.
"Hey, you don't want to ruin your makeup before you guys even say 'I do.'"
"You're right." She said taking some deep breathes, and she laughed. "I'm just so excited!"
"Well, let's get you out there. My brother is probably going crazy waiting; you know how impatient he gets." I laughed.
"For better or for worse, right?"

Danny's parents' huge backyard was decorated beautifully for the wedding. There were rows of white chairs on either side of the white aisle that led to the large gazebo. Red, pink, and white flowers were everywhere you looked and fairy lights were strung throughout the entire gazebo, lighting up the darkening sky- reminding me of houses around Christmas time.As the maid of honor, I lead the procession of bridesmaids down the aisle. I hiked up my red dress a little, so I wouldn't trip over it. I smiled warmly as I passed the rows of guests. Axel was sitting in the first row, and I winked at him when I passed him. When I stood at my designated spot, I sent Tyler a smile. He grinned back widely, excitement practically radiating off of him in waves.
Suddenly music started to play- it was the traditional melody of the wedding march. The french doors at the back of the house opened and Danny walked out with her dad. She walked down the tiny set of brick steps that led to the yard. Her bouquet of red roses was startlingly pretty against the white of her dress. Once her heels hit the beginning of the aisle, all of the guests stood to look at her.
Her arm was looped gently around her father's arm. She moved a little faster than the beat to the song; her eyes were locked onto Tyler. I glanced over at him to see he had tears shining in his eyes and a look of complete awe on his face.
Soon, Danny's dad was passing her off to Tyler, and the preacher was saying his opening statements. I wasn't really paying attention to what he was saying- I was too busy trying not to cry. Danny handed me her bouquet before her and Tyler clasped hands.
"Before we continue, does anyone object to the union of these two people?" The preacher called out.
I glared down the rows of familiar and unfamiliar faces, daring one of them to mess up my big brother's day. When no one so much as made a peep, I relaxed. A big smile made its way back on my face.
"May we have the rings?" He called again.
The ring bearer- Danny's eight-year-old nephew- walked up to the happy couple and pulled the rings out of his front jacket pocket. They each took one.
