"What do you think about these?"

Danny pointed at yet another picture of flowers from the giant binder in her lap.

  "They're pretty." I offered.

Danny had been tagging along with Tyler to visit me everyday, and I'd been 'helping' her plan out some details for their wedding- really, I think she was helping me by giving me something to do besides lay in this hospital bed. These past few weeks of chemo had really drained most of my energy.

"Yeah, so were the other eight thousand pictures of flowers." Axel sighed, exasperated.

"I know. I just can't decide!" Danny pouted, flipping through pages in the binder anxiously.

I shot Axel a reproving look from where he sat beside of me on the bed.

"What?" He said sounding even more exasperated.

"This means a lot to Danny," I lowered my voice, so she wouldn't hear me. "We are talking about her wedding day after all; every girl wants her wedding to be perfect, and all these big decisions can be overwhelming! So just smile and nod."

"Fine. But only because you're cute when you're bossy."

"Thank you." I reached up and brought his face down to mine to place a quick kiss on his lips.

Tyler walked into my room, carrying two cups of coffee from the cafeteria.

"Oh thank God you're back!" Danny said, grabbing a cup. "Which flowers do you like?"

"I'm fine with whatever you decide, darling." My brother smiled obliviously at his fiancée.

"But that's just it- I can't decide!" She threw up her hands in despair. "And we need to figure this out soon! We're getting married in a month!"

Tyler grabbed Danny by the shoulders, "Darling, it's alright. Just breathe. I don't care if the flowers you choose sprout legs and dance off with our wedding cake! All I care about is that I finally get to say in front of everyone we love that I want to spend the rest of my life with you."

Danny sagged with relief. "I love you."

"And I love you." He leaned in and kissed her.

I smiled at them. They really were a cute couple, and I couldn't wait to have Danny be my sister-in-law. In a month my big brother will be getting married, and my only wish is that I live long enough to see it- I am the maid of honor after all- my dying would put a damper on the festivities.

They've decided to have a very small wedding at Danny's parent's house; they were very supportive about the whole situation, and her parents couldn't wait to welcome Tyler into the family. They also decided to get married before they go off to college; Tyler was accepted into a local university on a baseball scholarship, and Danny was accepted by the same college on a softball scholarship.

Wow, they really are perfect for each other!

"Okay. We'll just go with these." Danny pointed at one of the photographs.

"Sounds good to me." Tyler wore a lovesick, goofy grin.

"Or maybe these? Oh, or those!" She sighed. "I really hope our future kid isn't as indecisive as me." Danny grumbled to Tyler.

"Our future kid will be perfect if she's anything like her mother."

  "She?" Danny looked taken aback.

Before Tyler could answer, I exclaimed, "For your's and that future baby's sake, let's hope it's a boy; Tyler's way too protective of me and I'm just his sister!"
