~ Chapter 12 ~

✽~ Thomas's POV ~✽

Did I do something wrong to Alex?
He just pushed past me.
I was sick today so I called school and told them. Maybe it was because i never told Alex.

I opened the door to his room quietly and I saw him writing in the journal I have him which made me smile to myself. I crept up and read over his shoulder.

He thought I was cheating on him!
I put my hand on his shoulder which made him jump. I guess he really didn't notice me.

"T-Thomas?" He stopped writing.
"Alex..." I began. " you thought I was cheating him you?! "
"You read it..?" I nodded my head in response and hugged him.

"Alexander Hamilton I would never cheat on you. I was sick. I promise I will never cheat on you and you are the best thing that's ever happened to me.
I know we had some rough times back in homeschool and that's all my fault. But please believe me."
I said. It was the truth. Why would I cheat on him?
He whispered, "I believe you" in my ear and I kissed him softly.

"What was so bad that happened at school toady?" He blushed and I widened my eyes hoping he's not keeping anything from me. "Come on you can tell me."

"The found out... A-About what we did yesterday night. I don't know how but they did. Madison and Lee spread the rumors. They are not friends Thomas. They have been bullying me. And the started it. It did happen. We did it but how in hell did they figure out? And t-that's not all. I really would have needed you at school toady. I felt everyone's glares piercing into me. I love you Thomas. I really, really do."

I was so shocked "It was all my fault..." I whispered. I
He shook his head frantically as I picked him up and put him in bed. "Alex we will talk about it tomorrow. I will be at your side all day. I kissed him on the forehead and walked out of the room.

When I got back into my room I say down on my bed and sighed. Everyone just bullied him all day and it was so my fault if I never did that with him everything would be alright but no. I had to be dumb.
How did I not know this was gonna happen?
Well it didn't happen last time. And that was actually near some people.

How did they find out?
Alex does not deserve this. Madison does. Lee does.
But I am not strong enough to have revenge on them...
Or am I?
Maybe in a different way...
I have a plan.

✽~ The Next Morning ~✽

I walked to school hand in hand with Alexander. After first period I talked to Mr. Washington as Alex left.

" Excuse me, uh Alexander, he is getting bullied by Charles Lee and James Madison. I wanted to maybe do something about it and you could help? " I said, hoping he would say yes.

"Meet me after school." He said. "Run along now."

I see Alex waiting for me in the next period class with his head down.
Everyone is spaced away from him and they are pointing and laughing at him but I sit down next to him and rubbed his back. He put his head up and blushed and he wrote down everything the teacher said.
"Can I copy you?". I whispered and he laughed quietly. "Really, Thomas? Hurry" I quickly copied it.

I dragged Alex back into Mr.Washington's class after school and Lee and Madison were here too.
"A little bird (macarooni fuker) told me that you two were being mean to Alexander. Is there that true?"

"No, sir obviously not he is just doing it for attention." Lee said.

" Here, can we check the cameras, from a few days ago? " I said. He nods his head in response.
"No! We don't need to do that sir." Madison says.

"I'm sorry but we can't leave this unresolved." That made me happier then Alex.
We go to the camera and skip back a few days.

Flashback: (chapter 8)

"What a worthless price of shit" Madison says.
Alex is on the concrete defenceless.

"Please s-stop"

"Go kill yourself. You don't deserve to live

End of Flashback.

"That's all I need to see. Thomas, Alexander, you may leave. James and Charles, stay."

As I was driving home with Alex, he laughed and said, "Was that really all he needed to prove that it was Lee and Madison?

I laughed with him and shrugged.
"Seriously, that was only bit of it."
"I guess so..." We finished the ride and went into our form to see Eliza waiting at the door.
"ELIZA!!" Alex ran up to her and hugged her and I laughed.

"Hey Alex! Hey Thomas!" She says.
" Hello. " I said. She smiled. And after that we just played bored games together. We played Life, then Uno, and Monopoly.

After a few hours, Alex won at Uno for the sixth time. "UNO!" He said and slammed his second-to-last card on the table. My face turned red, hoping that after I put my wild card down he would not have the color. "Uhhh. Yellow!" After Eliza put down a yellow four, Alex out down a yellow seven in the table. "I WIN AGAIN!" He screamed.
"Dangit!" Eliza and I both yelled in unison. I stared at her for about five minutes. " that was creepy... " we both said at the same time again and Alex got up and started laughing hard.

"What the actual heck..?" We said, yes, you guessed it, again at the same time. " Uhh.. I'll leave. It's getting late. " She said standing up.
"See ya later Eliza!" Alex and I said again.

Great what kind of demon-like creature is possessing me? Now Eliza was the one laughing.
"Bye Eliza." We said together once again. But I was used to it by now so we just laughed it off. I kissed THOMAS and we went to sleep.
