~ Chapter 30 ~

~A few months later~
~ Alexander's POV ~

Alex and I were volenteering for an orphanage.
This wasn't the first time.we have been helping here a lot over the past few weeks.

There were so many little kids. It was adorable.
Alex and I found one we really liked. Her name was Heather.

We really took a liking into her. She was six years old.
"Jacob get off of me please!" Alex laughed picking up one of the boys. I smiled and set out food for everyone. They came over and ate. "This is fun" he said giving me a kiss on the cheek. I agreed and smiled. When we stopped staring at each other I turned to see Malachi with chocolate all over his face. We laughed and cleaned him up afterwards.

Alex looked into my eyes and I looked into his.

He blinked a bit. I looked into his eyes deeper and saw sadness. Waves? Hurricane, I saw it now. Him and a woman looking pale together. His mom.
It had to be.

He looked down and I gave him a hug. We shared a kiss and I comforted him for a few minutes.

"Have you ever thought about having a kid?" I asked. "With you?" I nodded.

"Yes, actually." He responded, with the cute little blush on his face.

I smiled and thought of something.

His birthday is in a few weeks.

What if I surprised him with two things?!

Will it be too much to handle?
Nah. We only have a month of school left.

Yeah.
I'm doing it.

We took care of the kids for a fee more hours until we got home.

He was on his Laptop typing when I had a question. So I put my hand on his hand to let him stop and take a break.
"Alex have you ever thought of getting married?"
I asked sitting next to him.

He blushed and stuttered. "Y-Yeah"

"Why?" I shrugged.

"Just wondering"

But inside I was jumping with joy.

"I'm gonna go Gert something." I said walking to the jewelry store. I looked around and saw so many beautiful Jems.

Finally I found one that complimented his eyes and personality perfectly and bought it.

I smiled at the purchase and put it in my closet hiding with other stuff.

~ One Month Later ~

I took Alex on a fancy date tonight for his Birthday-Eve.

Tomorrow is his actual birthday and he has classes but I don't because I just finished finals. He still has them.

I smiled to myself. "What are you smiling about?" He asked cheekily. I smirked and raised a brow.

"Ooh you'll see."

After a bit longer we left back to our dorm.
