I roll my eyes in annoyance, "What? I thought we were eating pizza and packing all my shit, not giving Abigail a lecture" I say, "I didn't agree to this"
"Don't become a cranky pants, this isn't a lecture, just a question which may or may not become a really awkward conversation or a really good one"
I nod, my curiosity getting the better half of me, and I quickly tell them to hurry up and ask already.
"Are you and Edwin... you know, shit I don't know how to say this I uh-" Nick begins, I just tilt my head, biting the inside of my cheek to stop myself from laughing at his uncomfortable posture.
"Are y'all fucking? Or dating or in any real non-platonic relationship? One that wasn't put together by a management team, I mean" Zion cuts him off.
My eyes widen and I notice that Nick is trying to stifle back a laugh at the way that Zion was so straight forward, "Don't be too blunt. Not that it's really any of your business, but no. Why's that?"
"Doesn't matter" Zion states, his lips twitching into a small smile that you wouldn't even notice if you weren't paying attention.
Nick continues, feeling the need to input, "Forget we said a word"
"Well with a reaction like that, it clearly does matter a little. Tell me"
They look at one another before nodding, Zion the proceeds to take out a cream coloured piece of paper that has been crumbled into oblivion. He looks at Nick one more time as if asking once again if he should show me, but he just shrugs earning an eye roll from the Canadian boy.
"I want you to know that he doesn't know we have this and this has to be breaking every rule of bro code like, ever" Nick says, Zion slaps him hard on the arm causing a gasp to escape his plump lips "Hey! What was that for!?" He yells as he rubs his arm.
"Not only is this breaking every rule of bro code, but it's a complete invasion of privacy" Zion says.
"No need to hit me though dude" Nick mumbles under his breath, making me giggle a little.
"You guys realise that this is the first time we're speaking, and you're breaking your friends trust. Not that it matters to me, I just thought I should remind you"
"You told us to" Nick points out factually.
"I know I know, just saying, it's nice to meet you"
Zion laughs, "you too". His smile quickly disappears as he looks at the note in his rather large, darker toned hand, "I share and room with him, Edwin I mean, and as I was writing lyrics for Brandon because he acts like the parent half the time and was forcing me to" I laugh "I noticed something on the desk, my curiosity got the best of me and I opened it, as I was reading it the only person I could think of... was you"
"What is the letter about?" I ask, cutting him off.
"Let him finish" Nick shakes his head at me.
I put my hands up in defence, "Christ, sorry dad"
"Anyway, breaking his trust furthermore I took the letter and went to nicks room since he and I are both the only ones that don't speak to you at all"
"What about Brandon? I haven't spoken to him" I interrupt him again.
"Between you and I, Brandon has and very big mouth and also you probably will have to speak with him in the near future because he writes songs. So do the rest of us... but we suck"
I nod, giving him the okay to continue. "Nick promised to zip his mouth 'like a backpack', so I showed it to him"
"I didn't even have to mention your name before he also thought it was about you" Zion continues.
