"Abigail, long time no see" she says in a sarcastic tone, I stare at her blankly not wanting to speak, but by the shocked faces of both Zion and Nick I know I'll have to.
Where'd Brandon go?
I shake the thought, now isn't the time to preoccupy your thoughts Abigail.
"Fuck off" I say blatantly with an emotionless expression across my face, I don't want her to see the fear flowing through my veins.
"That's no way to speak to your mother, is it?"
A gasp is heard from Zion, Nick, Brandon and Austin, the two boys have just now joined us and I've never been so grateful for Edwin's absence.
By joined I mean sitting on the couch, thinking they're being subtle with eavesdropping.
I'm one to keep up my guard with everyone, and this is why. She is why.
Problem is I told everyone... well I told them she's dead. That's why they're so surprised.
"You're not my mother"
I go to slam the door but she catches it, she steps in and I step back into the stairs.
"oh darling, we can get a blood test if you want. I am your mother"
"Blood wise, sure, but you were no mother to me. Anyway, cut the friendly shit. How'd you find me?"
She clears her throat "your father-" I feel my body grow more tense at just the mention of him "found a way to get Simons number and as soon as he did we showed just how eager to see you we are, Simon wanted proof and after we could provide he gave us your address and this one"
I look into her green eyes and see the pure hatred she has for me, if she had the chance she'd put me in a coma. I see the fire in her eyes, and the longer I'm taking to respond the larger it's growing.
"Who gave you his number? And his name is Hamish, my father is dead"
This earns another gasp since he isn't supposed to be, I had to lie about that too because one of my parents had to be alive.
Shame it's the wrong one.
"That's irrelevant, and your father is at your house, maybe I should let him know you're here" she says as she grabs her phone out of her pocket
"I swear to god I'll beat the sh-" as I speak I walk over, fists clenched, but before I could reach her I feel a pair of muscular arms wrap around my waist, restraining me.
I guess Edwin wasn't absent.
"She told you to leave and since this is my property you're currently tresspassing, if you don't leave I'll call the cops"
"Oh and you must be her new found fling, Edwin. How lovely to meet you. Shame you won't stick around for long, you're actually quite an attractive guy. It sucks she gets around so much, you deserve so much better then her" she elaborates the word her
Edwin's grip around my waist immediately tightens, "don't talk about her like that"
"Why not? You don't know her like I do"
I shrug uncomfortably
"I know her well enough to trust the fact she doesn't want you here"
"You trust her? Okay, did she tell you about all her childhood memories?"
She wouldn't do it, would she?
"Don't" I growl
"How about the good times her father, myself and he-"
