"This is" I cut myself off with a sharp intake of air "Well, it's big-""Big? My whole entire state would fit in here and you use the word big? You fuckass"
"Okay, well as small as the Northern Territory is, that's an over exaggeration and a half. And we're not in Australia anymore, your state is California"
"Either fucking way"
She continues to ramble about how awful this is going to be, and how much she wishes her mum had swallowed her, before I sneak out of this conversation somehow unnoticed, and walk over to Simon with the simple intention to step on his foot.
"What the f- hell was that for?"
"You couldn't have just made fifth Harmony wait could you?"
"No" he states bluntly, and I roll my eyes so far back that I fear they may very well be stuck there forever.
I scoff, "Riley is over there going into full breakdown because you didn't have the tits to say no"
"I did-"
"What are you guys talking about? All I heard was tits and I was right over" Zion smirks, but that smirk quickly dissolves when he realises who I'm talking to, "Simon?" he flushes red, "this isn't very professional"
Not being in the mood and thinking that Simons eye roll was enough of a response, I ignore the whole 'unprofessional' bit he added at the end. "No dickhead, it's Riley. She is having a panic attack because Simon here didn't know how to say no, the stupid-" I'm interrupted by a cold hand being placed over my mouth, I look to be met with Austins confused and helpless eyes.
That's immediately a red flag for me, he looks like he's just seen a ghost.
"Abigail, you and I have to... fuck just come with me" he says as he drags me away from Simon.
We walk in silence through the tunnels and I take this time to really appreciate Austins appearance, I begin to notice things like how bad his roots have gotten just like my own, same colour and all, and how his eyes remind me of the Autumn nights where I would play in the leaves with my late father.
The same way Edwin's did that one nigh-
Nope they don't remind me of that actually back-fuckin-track. They remind me of autumn.
"You do realise you just said 'Abigail we have to fuck, just come with me' in front of Simon right?" I ask him, remembering what he said just minutes ago.
He gasps "No! Oh my- that's not- ugh" the sentence is ended with a groan, a sign that he's given up on redeeming himself.
"You sure?"
"I have a girlfriend" he reminds me.
"I know, she commented on my picture with heart eyes. I like her already"
"So you know I don't wanna fuck" He questions, and I laugh lightly under my breath.
"It was a joke, Austin" I clarify.
"I swear to- oh, okay. Sorry, I'm a little on edge today. That's all"
"Where are we going?" I ask, changing the subject purely for his sake.
"To the change rooms, everyone else will be here in a couple of minutes but you were about to verbally abuse Simon and risk your career... again, so I decided to get you" he looks at the ground with a flushed face and deep, lost eyes, the same ones I saw when he first came over to stop me from attack Simon with my verbal knives.
He's lying.
"You wanted something else though, I can tell. What are you keeping from me Porter?" I smirk deviously.
