I walk out of the room Edwin and I just kissed in at the same time Simon hung up the phone, he gave me an apologetic look and I already knew something was up.

"I'm headed home, family emergency?" I say, hopeful that I could escape this torture but knowing that that wasn't going to happen.

"You don't have any family besides a cousin in Texas, which isn't your home. Nice try though" he smiles sarcastically, "You and Edwin are going to go grocery shopping. Remember to hold hands and be flirty, the paparazzi know you're going to be there"

"Amazing date choice Simon, I see why you're such a ladies man" I reply, radiating my enthusiasm.

"Yeah I know, just extraordinary. Now go or you'll be late and they'll leave"

Edwin and I walked out to his car, he has a Land Rover which kind of shocked me if I'm honest, I get in the passenger seat and he sits next to me in the drivers seat.

I'm not excited for today, or the next six months. That's how long the contract we're going to sign is.

"You're an amazing kisser you know" He breaks the silence, slightly smirking.

I roll my eyes "You're a cocky bitch, you know that right?" I reply, resulting in him laughing.

"Simon said not to swear" he warns.

"I'm not a slave to Simon, unlike you, thought you'd realised that by now"

We sit in dead silence for about 5 minutes, not the good kind that I felt with Simon though, more so the kind where you can feel that something needs to be said but hasn't been. Edwin clearly felt this too, so he decides to speak up.

"Why don't you smile more? No wait, that's rude. Sorry. But why are you so.. I don't know, pissed off? I've known you a single night, and I can already read you like a book"

I scoff at his statement.

I can read you like a book.

I know the answer to both of his questions anyway, and I bet they're the opposite of what he's assuming. Im just confused as to why Edwin thinks I'd ever discuss it with him? Besides, that's not even what was on my mind.

I think I'm going to try and keep the relationship business related between us, I've known the kid for less then a day and I already hate him.

No more Edwin.

"Abigai-"

"Let's talk about this another time, you don't even know me so I wouldn't tell you anything and besides, I'm not in the mood for a lecture"

"What would that lecture be about?"

"Stuff Edwin, I don't even know you so what makes you think I trust you at all?"

He sits and drives just thinking for a minute before he decides it'd be a fan-fairy-tastic idea to pull over.

I personally disagree, but each to their own.

He swiftly takes off his seatbelt and turns and faces me, "So let's get to know each other"

"What?"
