Matt's House, The start of the making their debut album

Matt groaned as he slammed down onto the couch in his basement. He was stressed, not only stressed but worried. There was an upcoming mini tour to help get the band started and Matt was anything but excited and confident. He had been playing his drums since he got up 5 hours ago and nothing was going right. He kept messing up on the beat for all the songs and when he tried to just drum along to anything else for fun, he messed up. He was starting to doubt his skills. To make things so much worse, in his mind at least, his crush was coming over to hang out and watch him play. Who was his crush? The youngest out of the boys. Matt couldn't mess up in front of Dylan, especially when his drumming is what got his crush's attention in the first place. Thinking back, he could blame Aron for the younger, but taller, male wanting to come over. He was impressed and complimented Matt on it. This of course made our drumming hero blush and turn bashful. Aron took notice and decided to take things into his own hands. He suggested, "well, if you think that's great, you should hear him on his own and not practicing." Dylan thought that was a great idea and Matt silently thanked and cursed Aron at the same time. Sure his friend was trying to help him out but at what costs now?

Matt started thinking about how the younger male would react to his sudden drainage of ability. Would he be chill with it? Or would he be disappointed? If he was well then there goes Matthew's shot at a date and possibly more with the Mexican, or as Matt likes to call him, Sexican. An embarrassing nickname that he would rather anyone not find out about. He wanted to impress the male badly so he sat up, ready to take on those drums again. Just as he was about to get up, he heard his doorbell go off. Secretly relieved, he rushed up the stairs and over to his door. He opened it with confidence, not even checking to see who was there, like always.

"Hey Matt." All confidence drained. He blushed lightly and looked at the male in front of him. Dylan. He was even more fixated on the slight smirk he had. He step aside, shyly looking down and mumbled, "come in Dyl."

Dylan followed the order and Matt shut the door, keeping the hot, LA air out. He locked the door, seeing as they wouldn't be upstairs and looked back at his crush. He wanted nothing more than to kiss him right then and there but he didn't. He motioned for him to follow and went downstairs, into the basement once again. Dylan followed, looking around as he walked, being that this was only the third time he's been here, and was going to be here longer than the other times. Matt went over to his drums as Dylan sat down on the couch. It was then that Matt decided to speak up, despite the blush and shyness he was feeling. "Want anything before I start?" Dylan shook his head and lifted up the half empty, Big Red in his hands. Matt nodded and sat down.

Okay Matt, it's just Dylan. He won't care if you mess up. You're just starting out. You got this bitch. After Matt's mini, silent pep talk, he grabbed his sticks and started playing  the beat for 'Undead.' It was going very smoothly until Dylan's phone ran giving Matt a small fright. He jumped and promptly fucked up. One of his sticks even went flying across the room. He groaned and covered his face, stressed and embarrassed. Dylan laughed a little and told whoever was calling what he was doing and that he would call them back later. This made the already stressed Matt, stress more. What if that was his boyfriend? Worse, what if that was his girlfriend? It just dawned on him that Dylan could be straight. Dylan took notice of the way Matt was acting and set his drink and phone down. He walked over to Matt, so he could be standing next to him.

"Matt, are you okay? I think you did well." He asked. Matt jumped slightly, not hearing him walk up. He shook his head and looked at the drums.

"No! Fuck. I've been practicing since 11 this morning and it all keeps going to shit. I don't know why I'm messing up now. I was so smooth yesterday and now, it's like I'm a newborn trying to do fucking math! I wanted to impress you so badly." Dylan laughed at his ranting but slowed down when he heard the last bit. Matt wanted to impress him? He was already impressed by his personality. Dylan didn't even come over here to watch him play, well for the most part. He wanted to hang out with Matt seeing as he fell pretty hard for him.

"Impress me?" He asked. Matt looked away from him, his pale cheeks igniting like a fire. He nodded.

"Well, yeah, I like you. But you're not gay so lets just forget that I even said anything." He rushed out, standing up and walking over to get his MIA drumstick.

"Matt." He said softly, walking up to the slightly shorter male. He gently turned him so they were face to face. Matt wanted to look away but he was entranced by Dylan's eyes. They were so beautiful.

"I like you too." This brought him out of that trance.

"Wh-What?" He asked, unsure if he heard the younger male correctly. Dylan kissed him. It was short and sweet but Matt wasn't complaining. Dylan pulled away, holding him close.

"I like you too. I'm gay, gay as fuck. Especially for a guy with curly ass hair, who bangs on drums. Maybe bang me if I'm lucky." Dylan flirted, winking. Matt shook his he while smiling slightly. "And as for your drumming, you are an awesome drummer Matt. Don't ever doubt yourself. I love your drumming." Matt smiled, feeling the confidence he was lacking earlier.

"Thank you Dylan." He said, to which the latter smiled.

"Now, fuck the drums. Let's hang out." Dylan demanded making the curly haired male laugh.
