After a nice dinner, the triad left the restaurant for a little walk.
"That was a lot of food" Mitch commented. "I'm quite full."
Scott chuckled. "Well you decided to eat all the dates."
"Well but they were so delicious and I didn't have know you both don't like them" Mitch returned. "Also, Avi fed them to me which made it extra nice."
"It looked extra cute" Scott remarked.
Mitch giggled softly and took a slightly bigger step to not fall over a piece of trash.
"Are you okay with your shoes?" Avi asked. "I mean are you comfortable enough for the walk?"
"Avi, these are one the most comfortable shoes I have. Plus you know that I wear worse on stage." Mitch looked over to the bearded man.
"I was just wondering because I would probably fall over and kill myself" Avi said. "But as long as you're okay..."
"I am. Those shoes aren't made for hiking, but a stroll through the city is more than okay" Mitch explained. "Plus I hope that if I happen to not be able to walk anymore, someone would carry me back to the uber..."
Scott chuckled. "You certainly will find someone to do that for you. Two men, actually." He winked at Avi who just nodded.
"That's good to know" Mitch returned. "However, I plan on walking tonight."
"Fine with me" Scott returned.
Avi suddenly moved closer to Scott to get out of the way of a group of girls who were coming out of a bar. He bumped into the blonde slightly. "Sorry, Love" he apologised immediately.
Scott had quickly taken Avi's hand to avoid him falling down. "Don't worry, are you okay?"
"No, just didn't see them, I was too lost in my thoughts..." Avi returned.
"That's good" Scott said as he let go of Avi's hand.
Avi pouted slightly, he had liked the feeling of Scott's hand holding his own.
Scott noticed that immediately and he sighed softly. "Sorry..."
"No, it's okay, Scotty. Holding hands would be amazing but only if we all are ready, remember?" Avi smiled.
Mitch had observed this short exchange and he felt both of them. He hadn't tried to take Scott's hand, because he deemed it to early, but he also wanted to hold hands with his boyfriends. "Why don't we walk through the little park and head over to the bar Jonathan celebrated his birthday at?" He suggested, knowing that said park was never crowded at that time.
"Sure..." Avi returned.
"Oh I liked this bar" Scott added with a smile on his face.
So the triad turned left at the next corner and entered the park. They walked in silence for a while.
After a while, Mitch decided to be bold and try his luck. "It's nice and quiet here, isn't it?"
"It is" Avi replied. "Almost no one is here. It's so peaceful..."
Scott just nodded to that.
Mitch bit his lower lip as he let his arm swing in a way that caused his hand to brush against Scott's. He grabbed onto Scott's hand with his pinky only and smiled at when Scott stopped in his tracks.
"There's no one here but us, Scotty" Mitch said softly. "Give it a try if you dare."
Scott looked at their hands, at Mitch and lastly at Avi.
