Chapter 1

It was 6.20 this evening when both Avi and Scott were just putting on their shoes. They had gotten ready together while Mitch had been nowhere to be seen.

"Shall we call him?" Avi asked, but Scott just looked up from where he was tying up his shoelaces and shook his head.

"Give him five minutes, he'll be ready in time. After all he's eager to go out with us." He got up again and straightened his shirt.

"So am I" Avi returned and took his boyfriend's hand. "I am so happy that we're doing this now."

Scott smiled at him and nodded slightly. "Me too. I'm still nervous, but I want this bad."

Avi leaned up and kissed Scott's jaw. "I know, I am nervous, too, but also so excited. We're really doing this!"

"We are. My handsome men and me." 

Scott and Avi turned around to see Mitch walking down the stairs. He was dressed in a pair of tight black pants and a lavender coloured tie neck blouse. He had a light jacket over his arm and a pair of black heeled boots in his other hand. 

"You look gorgeous, Mitchy" Scott breathed. 

Mitch blushed at that compliment. "Thank you..." 

"He's right" Avi added warmly. "I love this colour on you." 

"Thank you so much" Mitch smiled almost shyly as he made his way down the stairs and quickly put on his boots. Once he was finished he looked into the mirror once more and fixed the collar of his shirt. "So..."

 "Our car will be here in five minutes" Scott explained with a soft voice. He let go of Avi's hand and stepped behind the smaller man, putting his arms around his waist. 

Avi smiled at the situation and joined his boyfriends in front of the mirror, smiling when he felt Mitch's arm sneak around his waist. 

"Don't we look beautiful together?" Mitch mused. 

"We sure do" Scott added and fished his phone out of his pocket and raised it. 

Avi and Mitch got the message immediately and smiled as Scott took a few pictures of them.

"Oh, I'm so tempted to post one of them on Instagram" Scott said as he looked at them.

"You shouldn't" Mitch said. "Even I deem it to be too soon."

Scott chuckled. "I know and I won't. But it's a memory. Our first official date."

"Which we're going to miss if we don't get outside now, I think our car has arrived" Mitch explained with a grin on his face.

The three men got into their uber and greeted their driver. "La Cucina?" The man asked them.

"Yep" Scott replied with a proud smile on his face.

"How did you get a table on that short notice?" Mitch asked as they were on the road. 

"Got lucky" Scott shrugged his shoulders. "Honestly, I just called them, because I really love the thought of sharing tapas with you and got a table. Voila."

"By sharing tapas you probably think about feeding one another, don't you, Love" Avi said with a grin on his face. 

Mitch chuckled. "I'm sure that's what our Scotty is thinking about" he added. 

"You know me too well" Scott replied with a grin on his face. "They also have lovely wine... red wine..." he then added, earning a playful slap from Avi.

"Oh I doubt that we'll need a lot of it tonight" Mitch spoke up, making both of his boyfriends laugh.

Scott looked up at the driver, wondering if he had heard anything of their exchange, but even if he had, his face stayed blank.
