Chapter 23

Walking down the red carpet was a wild experience for the three men. So many journalists asked them about their relationship and for the first time they were able to just smile at them and confirm that what they had was real. For the photos, the triad posed just like they had planned beforehand: Scott was standing in the back while Mitch and Avi were in front of him. The tall blonde had his arms around his boyfriends and Mitch and Avi were holding hands. They all smiled into the cameras both happily and proudly.

"Wow..." was the only thing Scott was able to say when they were done a few minutes later.

"That was something else" Avi agreed.

"Mmhm... do you think we look cute on the pictures?" Mitch asked.

"You bet that we do" Scott returned with a lopsided grin on his face. "Now... where to go?" He looked around and grinned widely when he saw a few familiar faces. "Oh my... Tyler, I didn't know you were here. Why didn't you tell us?"

The blonde man turned around and grinned. "Oh my, if it isn't Scott Hoying and his boyfriends" he exclaimed. "I'm so happy for you!" He hugged first Scott and then Avi and Mitch. "It's so nice to see you together in person. You could've told me, though. I mean not that I didn't have a feeling about this..." He grinned.

"You knew?" Mitch asked.

"I didn't know it, but when I saw you hanging out all the time, I was almost sure" Tyler explained. "It just fit in my eyes..."

"Aww, thank you" Scott said happily.

"You're welcome. I feel sorry though, for the way the journalists treated you. That must have been horrible" Tyler said.

"It was not easy..." Mitch admitted. "But here we are, we're out and proud together and this is what counts."

"Preach it" Tyler returned. "Now... you're performing tonight?"

"Yes, we are" Scott said.

"Just as Superfruit...?"

"I'm their plus one for the night. You don't know how much I look forward to just watch their performance" Avi explained.

"You probably are their biggest fan..." Tyler joked.

"Definitely." Avi chuckled.

"But then again, we are his biggest fans..." Scott returned and leaned down to peck Avi's cheek.

"We love supportive boyfriends" Tyler said with a smirk on his face. "Anyway, I need to head over for an interview. I'll see you after the show?"

"Yes" Scott returned. "Bye Tyler."

The triad mingled some more until a young  woman with violet hair approached them.

"Hello Avi, Mitch and Scott, I'm Emily, I'm the one who will guide you through the official part of the night" she greeted friendly.

"Emily, hello" Mitch greeted back, hugging the violet haired woman swiftly before Avi and Scott greeted her the same way.

"I hope you made it though the red carpet madness safely, everyone was so excited to see you here, rumours were going around that you'd come together" Emily stated. "We tried to hide it, but somehow they just knew."

"Well apparently there's a lot that they know" Mitch returned and shrugged his shoulders.

"Oh yeah, I saw it. Sorry for everything that happened to you along the way" Emily said.

"Thank you Emily" Mitch simply said.

"You're welcome" she returned. "Now, I would like to ask you to come inside for a quick soundcheck, then we'll do the interview..."
