C H A P T E R 1

—daniel's pov—

the boys and i had just finished our second to last show. we were excited to perform in europe soon, but until then we had one more day to wrap up the invitation tour in north america.

'where's the hairspray?!' zach yelled from the bathroom

'i'm using it!' i yell back

he storms out of the bathroom and grabs the hairspray from my hands.

'dude! i wasn't done!' i protest

'well i need to use it, you've been hogging the spray for 20 minutes!' he argues

jonah gets up from his chair and snatched the spray, 'hurry up daniel'

i quickly spray my hair and throw the hairspray to zach, 'finally!'

i slip on my checkered vans, and check my outfit. i fix the small creases in my white shirt, i button up my black ripped jeans and check my hair once more.

'yo we gotta get on the bus soon or we'll be stuck in traffic' tyler says as he enters the room.

the boys and i quickly pack our things and rush out of the room, we hop on the bus and we were on our way to new york.

after we got to new york, we settled into our new hotel room and unpacked.

'lets get something to eat, it's 1 pm right now' corbyn suggests

'that sounds like a great idea, i'm starving' jack says rubbing his stomach

'dude you're always hungry' zach replies

'says the person who eats 24/7' jack retorted

'hey i'm a growing boy so i need to eat!' zach throws his hands up

'ok where are we gonna eat?' jonah chuckles

'chipotle!' zach and jack replied

'corbyn, daniel, you guys cool with that?'

'i'm down for some chipotle' corbyn says shrugging

'yeah why not' i say grabbing my phone, 'i'll call an uber'

after a couple of minutes, we went downstairs to find out uber waiting for us in the front. we all got in and went to chipotle. the uber dropped us off and headed inside. we all got our bowls and sat down, as we ate we talked about our upcoming europe tour.

'dude i'm so excited to go back' corbyn comments, 'it's absolutely beautiful there'

'i absolutely love the food there, but it would definitely be better if there was a chipotle over there' zach added

we all laughed at his remark and continued eating. once i take a bite out of my food, i look up to see this beautiful lady sitting just a few seats ahead of us. just seeing her gave me butterflies. she looks up from her drink and smiles, i smile back at her and look back at the boys.

—nova's pov—

after a week of living in la, i started my first shoots and it was a success. they decided to do a shoot in new york, they flew me out earlier today. it was exhausting flying everywhere, but it was definitely worth it. i walk into the chipotle after checking into my hotel, i was absolutely starving after that long flight. as i paid for my food, the cashier looked up at me obviously confused.

'nova everett? as in the daughter of the famous coleman everett?' she asked.

'yes i am' i smile at her

'your dad inspired me to study astrology' she exclaimed

'i'm glad he made such a big impact in your life' i shake her hand and bring my food over to a table.

as i sip on my drink, i look up to meet a pair of bright blue eyes. i instantly got lost in them, i smile at the boy to break the tension. he smiled back and showed off an adorable tooth gap, i felt the butterflies fluttering in my stomach. we both looked away at the same time, i smile to my self but realize that i'll probably never see this boy again. i quickly way and head out the door, my shoot didn't start until noon tomorrow so i had time to adjust and relax.

i laid in my bed, i turn to the clock to check the time. '3:24 am'
i couldn't sleep, i was too anxious about the shoot. it was my first big shoot, i wanted to make a good first impression so i could get signed to more projects. finally, i decided to change into some comfortable clothes and headed to the roof. i wrap my jacket around myself as i sit under the stars. the sky was dim because of the light pollution, but i could still see through it. after a couple of minutes, the door opened and someone sat next to me. i look over to see the same boy from chipotle, he had the same bright blue eyes and adorable tooth gap.

'i saw you at chipotle earlier today' he exclaimed, 'i couldn't help but admire how beautiful you look'

you blush at his compliment, 'so what's your name ocean eyes?' i giggle

'daniel, daniel seavey. i'm in a band called why don't we' he smiled

'my name's nova everett, i'm the daughter of coleman everett'
